To those of you who tried unsuccessfully yesterday to get AP rates for April but were successful today, please post here! Give me hope!

I don't know how often I should have my TA check in with Disney. Also, she doesn't get to work until 10am.

Have you checked the AP website. You can check your rates there.

I don't have an AP yet, but was considering purchasing one soon...I can't get on the web site.

It's not that I don't know the rates, the problem is that there is no availability for code ANA for my dates. I know that in the past there have been success stories of people being persistent and getting their first choice, wondering if I should still hope?

I also would like to know how to check the rates. I went on the AP site but cant' find where to check...I called 6 times yesterday and every time it was NO....I am going April 17-21 staying at the Poly....can you help?

Just choose resort discounts and go through the process like you're booking a reservation. It will give you a breakdown of how much each night is and if you resort is not available, it will provide other options. If you choose your resort you can then choose to add the ddp to it (either plan), but beware, if you add the ddp, it will add insurance to the end of your estimate and you will have to click the delete button to remove it. This system is new but seems easy enough to use.

OK I took a look. All I can say is WOW, I don't know what's going on that weekend, but there are no deluxes available for the discount. The only things I kept getting were BWV-studio, SSR-studio, Ft. W campers. I did check moderates and CSR was available for $603, and Pop Century was available. I actually checked each delux (Poly, WL, AK, YC) and none were available for the AP discount. Of course availability does change often, but I would be very curious why that weekend is so booked up. I do know that Spring break for lots of northerner and passover is going on then.

I'd love to see what others got too, if anything. My reservation is very screwed up. We had to divide it into 3 reservations and I got an AP discount for 2 of the reservations. It's a pain because I keep checking and calling hoping a resort will open up for my entire time frame with the AP discount.

Me! I called yesterday and was told no AP discounts were available for our room (Poly Club Level - Lagoon View). I called back today to check on something else. While I had them on the phone, I checked again. Bingo - we got an AP rate. It saved us more than the AAA code we were using. We'll be there the last week in April.

OK, the system is back. It's not good.

Only value available was A/S Music and the rates are just so so. $74 for the weekday and $94 for both weekend days (not sure why it's higher, so maybe calling it will be $84 as it's suppose to be). The total was showing $297.

n2mm, thanks so much for looking that up for me. Those rates are slightly better thant he AAA rates, but probably not worth changing our reservations. I feel better about doing nothing, since my son really wants to stay at ASMo this time and I have some concerns about not having our APs in hand yet. We're arriving in the evening and I don't want any delays that might result in us having no time to do anything at the parks that day. Or even worse, having a flight delay and not being able to get our APs at all.

We're booked WL courtyard bunkbeds, and would like to keep that category, but we would consider other deluxe options, esp AKL savannah, YC/BC, BW and CR MK view. Dates are April 17-24. We wouldn't want to split our stay.

We're currently booked at POFQ from April 23rd to 29th. I was hoping to surprise Mom with an upgrade, but even rack rates for deluxes seem to be gone that week!!

That's good to know. However, I have noticed much more availability for May. April seems to be a real problem. I've checked alot for others and there is hardly anything available for the 2nd and 3rd weeks of April. Sounds like that timeframe is going to be very busy. Once you get into the end of April and the first half of May, there is much more availability for resorts. I believe that I read alot of folks have spring break mid-April combined with passover, it seems to sound like a much busier late April than in the past. I'm so happy I tend to stick to early May.
