Is Big Thunder Open??? I am going to be in DL in 2 weeks, I have been checking there daily schedule for the past 6 weeks and Big Thunder has been on and off of there "closed for refurbishment list" Currently it is off the list for the time I am going. Does this mean the ride is open, or have they just permanently closed the ride?? Thanks!!

I don't think that it's closed permanently. I haven't heard anything to that effect, and it was re-opened just the other day.

Where did you see this? I didn't see anything at Mouseplanet or at Disneyland.com.

I was going to cry if it was going to be closed for my trip in December. Space Mountain is already going to be closed. Last time i went the Matterhorn was down. If i go and thats down it will be all over. Ha. I'll fight everyone.

This will be my third trip to DL and I have yet to go at a time when the Matterhorn is open. Poor me! Anyway, I'm relieved that BTM is open, too--I'm using it to console my poor daughter, who is still one inch too short for Indiana Jones...
