Any characters that are rare at WDW make frequent apearances at DL?

Thumper, Brer Rabbit, Dumbo, Tink, RAbbit come to mind.

I haven't seen any of those, but I didn't even know they made costumes of those characters?

I'm still looking for Meeko and Jack Sparrow!

Come to think of it, I've never heard of Tink making an appearance aside from flying down from the castle. I think it would be kinda weird for kids to see an adult-sized Tinkerbell walking around!

I've seen Tinkerbelle in parades only.

I was a CM at WDW and I only saw Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear at my very last visit in 2001. I have seen Rabbit, but didn't even know that Thumper walked around. And T-bell only in the parade or flying from the castle.

I have seen Rabbit at DL. Not sure how often he's out and about. This would have been in July.

I've seen brer fox several times at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner.

Brer Bear and Meeko can be found at Storyteller's Cafe at the Chip & Dale breakfast. Of course, they're on rotation, so no guarantees.

I have heard that Rabbit makes occassional appearances at Minnie's Breakfast at the Plaza Inn.

DS had some interaction with Meeko at the GCH breakfast (11:30 seating).

I've seen Brer Bear, Brer Fox, Brer Rabbit all on different days this week and all sitting at Plaza Pavillion. Dumbo would be really difficult to maintain as a walk-out character, and to my knowledge, Tink has always just appeared in the parade and firework show.

Also saw Turk in December at GCH with our late seating for b'fast. Man, here I thought we were unlucky b/c Chip and Dale are done there at 10:30, but it turns we saw two rare characters and didn't even realize it!!!

I had my picture taken with Brer Fox back in 1999 at DL. I had my pic taken with Brer bear & Brer Rabbit at WDW in 2004 at MVMCP. they were just atanding by the entrance to the steamer in Liberty Sq, waiting for people to come visit. I jumped at the chance, as you almost NEVER see Brer Rabbit this way...

We also saw rabbit at Minnie and Friends last year.

Can't say I've ever seen any of the others. We are hoping for Donald and Buzz for sure this next trip.

Just remember, if you want to see Chip and Dale too, make your PSs for 10:30 or before. If if you don't care about them, know that if you make your PS for 11:30 you will only have the buffet option, as they stop serving from the menu at that time. Sigh...the things Disney Dining doesn't know...but at least the hostess tells you immediately!

actually brer rabbit is never around at wdw anymore.

perhaps you just missed him we have pics of him & brer bear on two different trips this year; song of the south is one of my favs
