Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club! I just got back from WDW, and this ride was brand new. Believe me, it was great! I saw that little Disney Channel preview, and it couldn't be more wrong. That made it seem cheesy and stuff, but it was different. :goodvibes

The other new (sort of) thing was the Seas with Nemo and Friends. Blech!! It wasn't a good retelling of the story, faded into a sappy song, and belonged in MK, not Future World!

Any questions on the trip.

P.S. This one wasn't new, but we had never done it..the Flights of Wonder show at AK is definitely a gem!

I would give the Monsters Inc thing a try, but Nemo is overrated. It's annoying and over used.

Flights Of Wonder was fun =)

The whole Pixar thing is a little overused though. Sure, Toy Story 3 is coming out in 2008, but ANOTHER Toy Story ride (in MGM)? It seems like the majority of the new rides are all Pixar. The problem is that these movies don't have the "classicness" and the "music" that the real Disney ones have.

I hate most of the Pixar movies.
Toy Story (the first one), I think is the only one I've enjoyed.

That is so true!

I would really love to see a Little Mermaid ride. The FIRST Little Mermaid though, because I think Melody just ruined it pretty much.
They should have replaced the submarine ride with a Little Mermaid ride, that would be perfect, because of mermaids, and such.
The Nemo ride looks like a bust to me, because that was a lame way to replace the submarine ride.

I agree Elyse.
They only have that lame mermaid show, and it was so bad my dad fell asleep and got mad when the water woke him up.

I can't wait to go next month. :upsidedow

So. How were the crowds?
Did you use refillable mugs?
What was the weather like?
Did people glare at you for using fastpasses?

Okay, I'm done with my TPAS moment. :p

But, really, did you have a magical trip?

the nemo ride is cute for little kids sorta.

we were going to go to the monster inc. passholder preview but i wanted to go to a motorcross race.

we will probably go in may or june. (if not before)

That's nice.=]
I was wondering in the Seas With Nemo And Friends do they still have the walk through area?Where you can see like sea turtle's and fish and such?

Yeah they still have that. It is really fun!

lol, that is why Fast Passes are fun, because everyone in the real line is like, "Dang It! I wish i got a fast pass"

Maybe It's me thinking too much, but does this make sense?:

People always want Fast-passes right? Well if so many people get F.P. wouldnt that make theline kinda long? So you should just stick with the regular line. But, then I remembered that you get F.P. for different times and they only give a certain amount out. Duh!

That's what I said when I heard about the AK Nemo show and the new version of the Living Seas. Finding Nemo was a couple of years ago to start, and even though it was a nice movie, it will never be a "classic" like the Little Mermaid. That 1989 movie, capitalizing on the success of animation that came from the comeback of the afternoon cartoon and creation of the Disney Channel and such, started the 90s with it's chain of period films. Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Mulan, and Hercules, and to a lesser extent, Pocahontas and the Hunchback of Notre Dame. The reason for the success and the reason these films were absorbed into the whole classic Disney thing is the music and the fantasy aspect. Finding Nemo has no legitamate "fantasy", (besides talking animals) unlike a film such as the Little Mermaid. In the long run, a movie like LM would be better.

Did you use refillable mugs? at the Beach Club
What was the weather like? really warm except for the rainy day
Did people glare at you for using fastpasses? oh yeah. Once, we dared mu Uncle to ask someone in the standby line how long they had waited. He responded "two hours." My uncle said, "I'm sorry. I've been here for only five minutes!" The guy didn't like THAT! :rotfl:

^^It was very magical, and I had so much fun!

Yeah, I really want to go see that next time I go to Disney, I love Monsters inc.

I have a lot of comments on this one.

First off, the Nemo ride was pretty lame. The only thing I liked about it was the fact that the little fish were projected on a screen that had a fishtank in the background. Like, real fish. Well, that's the only part I liked. Well, when our friends went on that ride, there were no fish in the background so it was a rip off because there were just two fish talking in a screen.
:confused3.

The whole fast pass thing? The glaring looks. Well, those, according to my mom, are from people who don't know how to get fastpasses. The signs and ads may be posted everywhere but they just don't know. Like we passed people in line because of the fast pass and we heard a girl say something like "Mommy! That's not fair. We've been standing here for an hour and they get to walk right past us." It was kinda sad. And the little girl's mom was holding a map. There are fastpass ads in the maps :sad2. I was a little sad.
