It was wonderful. Had everything we wanted and through www.getravelop.com it was at a great price! staying there even made us feel a little "cramped" at POP for our last 2 nights. no problem checking in a day later - except that we only had 6 nights there instead of 7. Was VERY close to the WDW parks, clean, fully stocked cooking items in kitchen, BIG TV, washer/dryer and jacuzzi in room, pleasant staff, lots of room, no pressure to attend a timeshare sales meeting, free internet terminals (thought i didn't get to use them). Highly recommend it. Will try to answer questions if you have any.

Thanks, for the review. Glad to hear you had such a good experience. :)

I'm so glad to hear good reviews about VV@P. We have a week there starting this Sunday 1/30. Are the internet terminals full computers where one can download photos to burn to a CD? Thanks for the input.

dj2,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm glad to here you had a washer/dryer in the room. Hopefully we will too. We are reserved for the "A" unit as well. Did you guys get a chance to swim or was it to cold? If so, was the pool heated sufficiently? Thanks in advance.

it was FREEZING, so we didn't even go near the pool. i seem to think it said it was heated in the binder they left in the room. i didn't bring the binder home, of course, but i do have the packet they gave at check-in. it says:

game room 7 am to 11 pm
fitness room 7 am to 11 pm
swimming pools 8 am to 11 pm
playground 8 am to 11 pm
bbq grills 8 am to 11 pm
internet room 7 am to 11 pm

something i forgot to mention was that they did not provide shampoo. don't know if this was just an oversight. we just bought some at publix (2 traffic lights east on 192). they did provide soap for the shower, both bathroom sinks, one box of Tide, dish soap and a new dish pad, and enough dishwasher powder packets to last the whole week.

didn't get a chance to go to the internet room, so don't know how full service it is. do know that it's free and i think she said located on the second floor of the check-in building.

their phone # is 407-396-9086

lad you had a great time..Here is another reviews from me. We used skyauction.

Had a great stay there in December. We had the A and B side rented and called ahead (1 week) and asked for a washer/dryer. We got it...Very nice. We got to swim...Good pool.

Much better than last time in 2003. This time no one bothered us to go on a timeshare tour. They asked once and we said no and that was the end with that.

Loved the room...Could use better pillows but that is about all. It was very clean.

PhotobearSam,

Thanks for posting...I think I remember you posting previously that you had a good stay here. May I ask a question regarding your Skyauction win? Did you win one auction for a 2-bdrm, or did you win 2 separate auctions for each (A and B) side? I was wondering if someone could win auctions for 2 one bdrm. units and request to have them connecting? VV@P also comes up on the Armed Forces website (like Getravelop), where you sometimes have a choice between the full or partial kitchen...which I assume accounts for the difference in the A and B units.

Thanks for any info! :)

Local_Girl,

I called Sky Auction and asked them this question for my upcoming trip. They’re response was “No”. They said that they have know way of identifying room numbers in their system. And that your actually assigned your room about 3 days out. They said you could try and ask the resort for the rooms to be connected about a week before your trip, but there was no guarantee that they would be together. Also, the room “A” is 1000 sq. ft w/ a king-jacuzzi and room “B” is 500 sq. ft. with a queen.

We won an auction for a 2 bedroom. It is basically 2 one bedrooms side by side but the auction I won was for both units at the same time so there is no way of making sure the 2 one bedrooms connect unless you win an auction for a 2 bedroom.

Check this out for floor plans

Thank you both for the info! I guess we could split our party...MIL in her own unit, and DH, the kids and I in the other...but if we have to pay separately for each 1 bdrm unit, we wouldn't save much (if any) over what we currently have reserved at Cypress Pointe. Now if we could win a 2 bdrm auction for basically the same rate...that would be a deal! :)

dj2,

Could you tell me if there is a DVD player in the Room?

There was not one in our room. there was a VHS player instead. The TV had a channel that said "dvd component" or something like that, so we called the front desk to see if there was a dvd player somewhere that we weren't seeing, but they looked up our room and said no. that leads me to believe that there MIGHT be some rooms that have a dvd player instead of a VHS player.

We stayed there last year on an exchange week, friends bought theirs on Skyauction (really cheap). Both were beautiful, theirs was nicer (washer and dryer). They were in newer building. Pool was nice, we were their Canadian March break.
Very clean and close to everything--no shampoo in ours either. Confusion about the bbq, utensils are very limited, sign up early, bring them back right away. Have a great time, we did. :cool1:

I am so glad to hear good reviews! I called RCI yesterday and booked a bonus vacation for Feb. This was the only timeshare they had left. I've been looking everywhere for pictures. Do you have any of the rooms?
