I've read quite a few posts re the 2009 dining plan. While the plan has gone up in price, appetizers are back in the regular plan.

Sorry, the regular DDP table service components are the same as 2008 (entree, drink & dessert.) Apps are only for ages 3-9, just like they were in 2008 (and they're not really appies...more like choices of side veggies or fruits like carrot sticks or applesauce, depending on the restaurant.)

No appetizers included in the regular plan in 2009, unless you are a child 3-9 and that is only because children's TS meals are generally presented and sold in three courses - the first course is typically something like chicken soup, raw vegetables, applesauce or a small salad, not generally what an adult would consider an "appetizer" but because the dining plan uses that terminology to refer to a first course, that's what it says. They obviously didn't want a lot of families on the dining plan asking questions about the courses on the kids' meals. Appetizers for adults are covered only in the deluxe plan.

The only change in the dining plans for 2009 is the introduction of the counter service only plan, and a slight increase in prices.
