THRILL SEEKERS: RNRC or EE?

Missed that they were talking about Steel Vengeance. I want to ride that so bad.

Yes, sorry, TTD and SV.

The videos for Steel Vengence do not do it justice at all. If you ever get the chance to go there, request the back seat. Trust me, it’s worth it.

RNRC is way more intense in my opinion. I find EE more enjoyable though. We have gotten to ride it during sunrise and sunset. It feels like you are really there on Mt Everest in some ways. I know for a lot of us, it's the closest we will ever get, and they did an amazing job on it. We actually rode it like 5, maybe even 7, times in a row the morning we saw the sunrise. Every ride was as good as the last.

Looking up the G forces of the coasters: Rockin Rollercoaster has 4.5-5 Gs depending on the source, whereas Everest only has 3 Gs. The backseat of Rockin Rollercoaster certainly makes it a bit more intense than the front, and the front of Everest is certainly more instead than the back since the backwards turn is the most intense part. But I'd say Rockin Rollercoaster launch in the back is definitely more intense than the backwards turn in the front on Everest.

Compare that to Hulk at Universal with 4 Gs and Millenium Force at Cedar Point with 4.5 Gs.

Both are great, it's hard to decide. Now I'm adding EE at night to my list.

Both are very good. RNRC has become less smooth over the years and needs some TLC. The launch is hard to beat and the loop and barrel rolls are just fun.
Everest is just an entirely different level. The attention to detail is incredible. And the slow and fast parts are fun. Now if they could just figure out how to fix the Yeti . . .
Of the two, my choice is Everest.

I finally rode EE last year and I found it to be more fun than RNRC. Because it goes backwards, I found it to be more thrilling and less predictable. It made me quite dizzy, though. I also enjoyed the story. However, I love the music on RNRC. It would be really cool if the rides' music could come through seat speakers on all the big rides. I feel like it would add to the thrill.

I would have to say EE just for the backwards part. I love all sorts of coasters, extreme and kiddie. I agree that Universal Studios has more thrilling coasters than WDW, so they would be a good step up for you. I think my favorite overall is the Twisted Colossus at Six Flags in California.

The launch of RNRC is awesome! It’s like being in a really fast car. EE is very smooth. Love them both

I love both. I don't find either all that intense, but their intensity is perfect for me. I prefer the lap bar of EE over the shoulder bar of RnR. I feel claustrophobic on RnR, especially at the end while waiting to get off the coaster.

Everest's my personal favorite of the two (and probably my favorite coaster that I've ridden anywhere, at the moment). It's smooth, the section where you're going backwards is fairly unique (and adds a lot to the ride), and the theming (both in the ride and in the queue) is fantastic.

RnR isn't bad; it just isn't my favorite.
