Thrifty vs. Enterprise?

Hi all

After 3 months of planning to use only Disney transport for our trip, I changed my mind and decided that our trip is so short that a rental car would be worth it (we will be there for less than 4 full days--arrive 12/15 @11am, depart 12/18 @8pm). I have never rented a car before so I'm a little clueless...I've narrowed it down to Thrifty and Enterprise, and the rates I've found for both are within a couple dollars of each other. Any input about them would be greatly appreciated!!!

Enterprise is #1 for customer service with us. We use either Enterprise or Hertz when we travel to FL 4 - 6 times each year!
We used Thrifty ONCE a few years ago, no reason to go back.
We also tried DME ONCE, but with rates as low as $15 a day, we like to get a car.

I just canceled/re-booked our Thrift ressie for tomorrow, saving $9...Got an intermediate for $11.99/day.

I will post my experience whe we return.

Big thumbs up to Thrifty. Easy to catch shuttle and return and if you use Blue Chip, no wait either.

One word of advice. Do not fill up at the station across the street. It is $.80 higher than anywhere else.

We've had good luck with Thrifty, too. We've never used Enterprise, so I can't comment on them one way or another.

You get a 20% discount with alamo if you're a passholder.
My aunt rents cars a lot, since she does a lot of flying and doesn't like to rely on other people for transportation.
Her trip down tomorrow for a week, she's using alamo and I'm gonna try to use my passholder discount to give her 20$ off. It's about 20$ more than what she got with a travel agency, but it's also for a full size sedan and not a little car.
