Thrifty car rental ON SITE???

I just got an amazing price for thrifty at MCO. From what my ressie says it is at the Airport but to be honest I don't remember Thrify Car Rental there. Can anyone clarify for me, Is it on site or off site????

Also anyone had any problems with them???

Thrifty is off-site by a couple miles. You will take a shuttle bus - it is about a 10 minute ride. They are located right next to Hertz. I have not used them before, but have a reservation with them for our October trip. I got $89 weekly rate, with taxes and fees it was $130, for an intermediate. I believe they will apply 5% AAA discount when you checked in. This rate was $80 less than any other rental company - Dollar was the next lowest.

I am hoping others will respond to your posts with comments on any problems they've had.

Thrifty is a short way out of the airport terminal; but very convienent with their shuttle buses. I rented from them back in April and was overwhelmed with a friendly courtious staff right up to the Lincoln Town Car upgrade for the price of a Hyndai. I'm looking forward to renting from them again next April.

Where do you get the shuttle??? Do you have to pre arrange it???

My rate is also $80 cheaper then dollar.

Hopefully it will only be a small inconvenience.....

The shuttles come continously by the rental car area...just follow the signs. I rent from thrifty often and have had great luck. Sign up for the blue chip card on the web site..it's free. You get to thrifty, pass up everyone in line and get to Disney quick.

We have used Thrifty several times with no problems. The shuttle buses are always right there waiting, and it's not a long ride. They have even upgraded our car sometimes. We did have a counter agent who pushed the insurance and was rude when I declined once, but I joined Blue Chip so now I don't have to deal with that (your preferences are already noted).
