Thrifty Blue Chip question...

Okay so I signed up for the blue chip program, now when I go to put my reservation in it has all my credit card info...does this mean they are going to charge my account now or when I pick the car up?? I just want to make sure I can cancel without a problem if I find a lower price. TIA!!!

They will charge your card on the day of your reservation. Sometimes they do it ahead of time and there are times that you will have to present the card for charging when you get to the station. It won't effect your reservation if you need to change it or cancel it. This just makes it a faster process of getting your paperwork done when you pick up the car.

They have had my card number for 2 weeks and no charges yet. I assume it just keeps us from having to go through all the extra hupla when I get there.

No, they will not charge your card until your rental day. However, if you 'blow off' the reservation without canceling, they will charge you for, I think, one day's rental - like a hotel would do.
