DH volunteers for a small local animal shelter and thrift store. We stopped in there this afternoon to check out the doggies, and I wandered through the thrift store part -- found a pair of Brighton shoes, black with brown croco tops and beautiful silver hardware, for $6!!! The tops looked hardly used (the soles were a little worn, but big deal). I looked on Brighton's website -- similar shoes sell new for between $175-$195!
