My DH really wants to take our son our on a mouseboat this summer. Do you think 3 years old is too young? Thanks.

I could be wrong but...I don't think Disney will allow a child that young on the mouseboats. I know to drive the mouseboats used to be 12yrs old and think I read they changed that to be 16yrs (guess they're now requiring a DL?) But as for age to ride I don't think they allow a child that young.

Again, could be wrong but......

DS was able to ride in one when he was 3. (Obviously as a passenger LOL) I don't know if there is an age limit, no one ever asked how old he was. They just made sure he had a life preseverer on.

DS LOVED it! BUT i want to point out, he is also fearless and has always been a daredevil. The boats can get pretty fast out on the water, some younger kids might get scared. You have to judge your own child.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe they have regulations on passenger age. Of course, he will have to wear a life jacket. I guess my biggest question would be, "Will he be able to see over the front end?" It'd be a bummer to sit there and look at the dashboard. Obviously, it would be unsafe for him to stand up during the ride. How about some type of booster seat?

The mouseboats are really fun! They were among my daughters' favorite things at Disney!
