Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Good Thursday Morning!

I’m here at an unusual time for me - I’m normally at the gym now, but my furnace is not working for the second time in one week so I’m waiting for a furnace tech again. To say I’m unhappy about this is an understatement.

#1 - EGGS - My default thing to make when I’m making dinner for just myself. I always make sure I have a dozen in the fridge.

#2 - EARRINGS - Specifically my small diamond Mickey Mouse ones that I’ve been wearing every day for 25+ years.

#3 - ENOUGH - I’m grateful that I’ve been able to train all of my dogs that when I say the word ENOUGH that it means to settle down and to stop what they are doing. It started by accident with my first dog and I’ve trained all my other dogs since then.

Good morning! I love so many answers shared already of Easter, He is risen indeed! Energy, eyesight, and earth, envelopes, too.

E, my friend and kind CNA

Entertainment such as Hallmark Christmas movies.

Ecclesiastes 3:11: "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."

Evening all,

1. Eating - definitely second (or third?) this one. I love food and I love to eat, and trying out new restaurants and new foods is one of my favourite things. Just wish I could eat all the time and get away with it.

2. Eye makeup - mascara, eyeliner & eyebrow pencil, these are my 3 staples for eye make up that I couldn't do without.

3. Earphones - something else I couldn't live without, as I use them daily while out walking or travelling.

Emergency apparatus
One of the pretty ones.... county doesn't provide 🚒 🚒 🚒 fire protection.. have to purchase the service

Estate equity.. unfortunately the culture of winter visitor is disappearing as our children are in debt and can't afford a winter home... many modulars and park model trailers are for sale

EVENT... weather ☁️ ☁️ variety... these seeds have been sitting for 2 years.... the whole neighborhood of 100 streets is covered with these knee high growth... grateful to look at green

TGIF Friends

#1 - DOGS - Especially my current dog. I’m not sure who needed who more. All I know is that he filled such a void in our house and we love him so much.

#2 - COWS - I enjoy the milk they produce every day.

#3 - CHICKENS - I cook a lot of chicken here, so I’m always grateful to have that. I’m also grateful for the eggs they lay.

My brain initially blended this with yesterday's E theme and I was thinking Emus and Elephants! 🤣

1. Snakes - I know some are afraid and I get it. I have this insane fear of spiders that's on par with some people's snake fears. Still, they are some of the most beneficial creatures we've got (minus the infestation in the Everglades). They are nature's pest control. I'm in a Facebook snake group that helps educate people on identifying venomous vs. non-venomous, behavioral considerations, coloration anomalies, and gentle ways to shoo them away without putting you or the snake in danger.

2. Marmots - I'm sure they serve a purpose but I just like them because they are cute and fluffy. They bring me great joy if I happen to spot them when traveling in the mountains.

3. Dogs - I'm a dog person and while I don't know if we'll always have a pet around the house, it's my pet of choice. I've never had a cat, so I can't compare, but my post gym greeting from our dog last night says it all about why I love having dogs. She was outside at the driveway gate when I first pulled in. As soon as she sees it's me, she'll start "talking" to me. When I open the gate, she will run out and hop into the passenger seat of my vehicle so she can be by my side as I pull all the way up to the house. She'll then hop out (once I'm stopped) and guard me (really just dancing around waiting for me to snuggle and play) as I close the gate.

Afternoon all,

1. Cats - I love dogs and all other animals, but my heart always goes out to cats the most. Their personalities and lifestyles fit in the best with my own, and their rather volatile and indifferent attitudes sometimes can be hilarious. I miss having a cat in my house.

2. Red Pandas - these are just so adorable, and probably a little cat like in a way which will be why I like them.

3. Stingrays - bit of a weird answer I know but one of the things I have super fond memories of and still get a lot of enjoyment out of, is feeding and touching stingrays (admittedly not in the wild!). One of the only reasons I'd go back to Seaworld.

In Biblical poetry the deer is symbolic of courage... strength.... passion

This concrete statue is gratefulness of all three.....it was given to my wife and I as we were passionate about growing a beautiful Oregon garden along the sidewalk for neighbors and walkers ...it brought joy

Strength in that we spend an hour every day in the brutal summer watering...in this coming splendor of summer November to April a spiritual harvest of gardening ..so say the HUMMINGBIRD chirping at our ears to spray water so they drink and bathe
Courage...our 2017 Yuma trip was a economy car and old Ford truck... wife went to change oil day before departure and mechanic told her that motor serpentine belt was shot....so Enterprise gave us another truck... the deer came out of the yard and into the extra space.... and dog traveled in modern AC
