for news one way or another:

(1) Whether the Cali Grill closing rumor is true and, if so, when and for how long before it (or its replacement) is back.

(2) Whether the Poly will be closing in 2013 (or just the GCH) and, if so, whether 'Ohana and Kona be shuttered for good.

(3) When Be Our Guest will open, whether it will be 1 TS or 2 TS at dinner as well as the initial reviews of the restaurant.

My guesses (mind you, this is pure speculation, I have no inside information whatsoever):

(1) Cali Grill will close sometime between Labor Day and Thanksgiving 2012 for at least 6 months. It will be replaced by a new signature restaurant with a different name (and somewhat different theme). Offical announcent from Disney will come by Memorial Day.

(2) The Poly will not close but major rennovations to the resort will take place beginning sometime in 2013 and will continue at least through the better part of 2014 and possibly into 2015. The GCH will likely be entirely replaced, which will make the resort restaurant-less for several months (but I don't see this starting until fall of 2013 at the earliest, partly because I don't think they'll close the Poly restaurants until after the new signature in the Contemprary is up and running). The new GCH will be grander with a larger and more open lobby area. 'Ohana and Kona will return (or very close equvalents - these restuarants are too popular) and will be joined by a new signature restaurant.

(3) BOG will open in full sometime in the fall of 2012 and start out as a 1 TS restaurant but will likely be a 2 TS by the time the final dining plans come out for 2013 due to insane popularity. The food will be only marginally better than CRT but it will be a super hot ticket due to location, atmosphere, and novelty factor. Count on this restaurant requiring a CC guarantee.

1. This rumour has been floating around for a while now with absolutely no facts to substantiate it.

2. Ditto

3. No information has been released yet. Speculation is pointless.
