Three Night Stay at AoA - 22000 DMR Points!

I didn't see this posted yet. Disney Movie Rewards is offering a 3 night stay at Art of Animation (in the form of a Disney gift card) for 22,000 points. I'm not even close to 22,000 points, but maybe someone here is!

I have over 16,000 points, but that's after saving nearly every DMR point since 2008. They offered a DisneyWorld vacation back then too, which is what inspired me to start saving points in the first place. Of course, (according to this blog http://brokehoedown.wordpress.com/2...body-spare-20275-disney-movie-rewards-points/) back then 22,000 point got you 4 nights at a DELUXE hotel for 4, park hopper tickets, VIP tour, $250 dining allowance and airfare! Seriously?? Even airfare?!

Now, for 22,000 points, all you get is 3 nights hotel at a value resort. And it says it's rewarded in the form of a gift card. So, how much exactly is the gift card? And can you use it at other Disney properties? Are there blackout dates?

Also, there's apparently the issue of redemption verification. Does DMR honestly expect everyone to still have a proof of purchase tab from EVERY single DVD/blu ray they've ever entered in order to redeem their reward??

LOL! You'd be surprised, haha! Actually, I take advantage of a lot of free bonus point codes, double point days, etc... We also submit our movie stubs for points, especially when they offer double points when you see a movie in theatres opening weekend.

I admit I may buy more movies than the average person, but I have 4 kids, so the movies are usually stocking stuffers/holiday gifts and birthday presents throughout the year. And I try to buy movies as inexpensively as possible. A while back Big Lots had several Disney movies with reward codes on sale for $3 a piece, so when I can buy movies for cheap like that, I do get them mostly for the codes.
