Am sailing in on the Magic in April '05 and extended family has just decided to do a group cruise in May '06 (4 day Wonder). So, I voluntered to book while on-board to get the rebooking benefits. But I will need four cabins.

Question #1: Is there a limit on how many cabins I can book and get the discount and ship board credits?

Question #2: Do I need to use only my cc or should I take each person's info and book on their own cards or with cash (traveler checks)?

Question #3: Do you think I should book gty cat. or pick specific cabins.

It will be me in my own cabin with my 6yr nephew (booked with me but probably will want to sleep with his parents); my brother & wife and 2 yo neice; my mom & dad (mid '70s) and my sil's parents (60ish?).

My brother and I are thinking cat. 11 for each of us; my folk want at least a cat. 6. In-laws still deciding but probably a cat. 6 also.

We did a similar group thing in "03 with gty. categories only and everyone got very nice up grades. But I know NOT to count on that.

Advantage to picking is I could try to get the two 11s close together and near the two 6s. and also have some flexibility for location on ship.

Of course, every one in the group says to me, "Just do what you think is best." which is generous but I am . . . looking from a little guidance from the pros here.

I would pick specific cabins if you want all 4 rooms near each other.

Sorry I can't help you with the other questions!

Not 100% sure but I think that I remember seeing that each adult in the party on board can book one cabin with the discount & stateroom credit. Not sure if they would let you book the additional rooms at the regular price so that they can be close together. I would also book the staterooms you want if that is an option when you book.

I was able to book 2 rooms once -- never tried to do more than that while onboard.

Can I add my rebooking question here too? Its kind of along the same lines. We (my ds and I )plan to cruise this May on the Wonder. I want to rebook while onboard for a 7 day cruise. My parents want to join us on the 7 day cruise, so we will need TWO staterooms. My ds is only 9 years old...so I do not have another adult to help book a second room. Will I be able to book that second room getting the discount and onboard room credit?
