Three families, all different arrival and departure dates: booking FP window

My family is staggering our arrival and departure dates as my sister only wanted so many days with my wildly fun three kids.

She arrives on a Tuesday, my parents on Thursday and we arrive Saturday. We will all be together in the parks on Sunday and Monday. Then she leaves the next Tuesday, my parents on Friday and we leave Saturday.

When my sister's booking window opens, can she book for all of us on our days together? And then can my parents book for my family when their window opens?

And once the FP are booked, can anyone in the party modify them once you are in the park? Or is it like ADRs and one person manages the FP?

It might, but I only ever booked with a package so I am not sure if it is the same way with room-only. I know for sure that if you were all booked on separate packages, you'd have to each wait until your fastpass window opened. Maybe someone can shed some light about room only- you just might be able to book them all at once, as long as you are linked on MDE.

With room-only, the first person there can schedule FPs through her checkout day for everyone linked together.

Then your Mother can book for the remaining people through her checkout day. You are on your own for your last day.

I'm going later this month with 18 family members. I kept seeing this pop up on MDE:

My sister was over at my house tonight, so we called to see what they could do for us. With a trip less than 3 weeks out, the CM was able to help us coordinate a bunch of fast passes. I had previously made reservations, then my sister did a few days later and then another sister a few days later. The very helpful CM we spoke to tonight was able to give us a lot of options as a group. He merged as many fastpasses together as he could. If you are close to your window, I'd call them and see what they recommend. I don't think we were on hold for 5 seconds before we were speaking to the CM. This is a great new service for big trips.
