I actually did all my ADR's online, and had very few issues getting what I wanted, when I wanted them. Even with all the changes I made it was still pretty easy.

19 days until we leave home!

But alas, I was reminded just how much stuff needs to be done before we can leave. I have yet to pack anything, or even sort through stuff to be set aside to pack. I still need to make our shirts for this trip too.

Guess I better get cracking, huh?

It's funny, we call our DS Bug too. It's started when he was little and I called him Bug-a-boo. Now it's Bug or Buggy!

I'm hoping for really nice weather too. It would make me happy if the afternoon showers came few and far between.

We started calling dd Bug just after she was born. She was so tiny and when she was swaddled we said she was snug as a bug in a rug. It stuck from there. We call her Buggy or Bug-a-boo too!

Well I've been getting some grief for not updating this PTR so here's some news, and some pictures...

With only 13 days left on our countdown calendar

we still have a bunch to do before we leave.

We have managed to get some shopping done though:

First thing is new shoes for everybody

A pair of Merrels for me and Bass H2O shoes for DW and Bug.

A pair of Gymboree sandals and some awesome Chucks.

And last my DW's $10 Airwalks. That's a lot of shoes... notice I only have One pair?

I decided to do something special for my girls this year, so we are going to do the Pick a Pearl in Japan for each of them. Following advice I found on the DIS I hit up ebay for pearl cages and chains and got a great deal. I couldn't make it a surprise because I had to have DW use her ebay account to buy the settings, lol.

First the Bug's chain and cage,

and DW's,

and an extra cage, just in case we get a big fat pearl!

And since this will be the Bug's birthday trip we are trying to get a bunch of small presents and a few big ones to wrap and have her open during the trip. The first is a TAG reader,

it looks like a pen with a speaker on the end but when she touches the end of the pen to a word in one of the TAG books it will read the word to her. So far we only have “The Cat in the Hat” that came with the reader and a Little Mermaid book.

ToysRUs has more Disney books and a “Learn to Read” box set that I plan on picking up before we leave.

And another gift will be her first set of Trading Pins, Lanyard and Medalion.

DW and I went back and forth on this, we aren't really sure if Bug is old enough to understand pin trading but we have decided to give it a shot since we've read so many cool stories about it on DIS.

Well that's it for now. Less than a week until the wedding, and then the last crazy week before we leave!

Shopping for vacation is always fun! The Cinderella coach pearl cage is so cute! I have seen that on here before and thought it looked adorable!

I also love the Vinylmation "Flag" pin. Very cute!

And lastly, for being less than 2 weeks away!

The shirts are mostly done now, just need to put an iron-on onto one of dd's shirts and possibly redo one of dh's. We just need to take pictures of the rest of them and get them posted on here. Hopefully that will get done tonight.

Well, DW finished most of the shirts and got pictures of them...

these are the Hidden Mickey shirts, they were an experiment, if you look carefully you might be able to see small white Mickey heads hidden on the shirts.

Next up are the classic Mickey head tie-dye shirts. DW has made these for our last couple trips, we always get comments on them and have often had people try to buy them right off our backs!

Last we have our pirate shirts, ARRRR! DW is thinking of redoing mine because the black tie dye doesn't match the black Mickey head. And the Bug's shirt still needs the applique ironed on.

Only 10 days left!!! Today is my last day off (besides the wedding which doesn't count) until we leave. Getting down to the wire and still SO much left to do!

Can your parents adopt me? What a wonderful family. We are trying to drag my parents along for our next trip but they are putting it off. They still think Disney is cheap souvenir places on International Drive.
I love the shirts.
Good luck with the weight loss. I have lost a lot of weight on weight watchers and am really stating to "feel" better. Like I have been playing more with the kids nad gardening a lot. I didn't even notice that I wasn't doing those things.
I did not know you could get the pearl cages in advance. Do you put the pearl in it yourself? We opted not to do that last time b/c we thought my DD was too young but our next trip we will do it for sure.

The pearl cages are just little cages, you drop the pearl in, close the hinged door, and slide it on the chain. If you want the link to the ebay store where I found the cages shoot me a PM!
