Three days, one Epic trip! May 18- May 22, 2025 (Updated 7/16)

Day 3 (part 2)

We arrived at TSM, and there was quite a back up! They let us know that the ride was running on limited capacity, and even with our $LL, it could be a bit of a wait. We pivoted and decided to head over to Alien Swirling Saucers first, since it wouldn't be too much backtracking. We enjoyed our spin on the little green aliens, and visited The Great Potty Ride, and then we went back to TSM.

Besides the Tangled bathrooms, anyone else take pics of potty signs?

It was still a bit backed up, but we were soon inside the A/C wait; it ended up being about 20 minutes but we honestly didn't mind just being inside for a bit!

Don't worry, I was victorious again!!!

Yay for me!

By this time it was nearing 2:00, and we were both pretty spent from the heat. We did have one more $LL in DHS, though; Smugglers Run. We made our way to Batuu and were soon partaking in the thrilling job of being engineer of the Falcon *sarcasm.* The poor pilots didn't know what to do and basically just sat there the whole time. Oh well, still enjoyable!

I always appreciate when Hondo is working!

We perused Dok Ondar's (but as usual, did not purchase anything), and made our way through the marketplace and towards the exit of Galaxy's Edge.

No lightsabers today... maybe one day!

We noticed Rise of the Resistance only had a 25 minute posted wait, but we were just too worn out by the heat to even ride it. Crazy, I know! (We'll be back in the world 25 days from today, so we figured we'd just leave it for the next trip).

It may have been the temperature of the sun, but man the sky was gorgeous for photos!

As one does, we browsed our way toward the exit, and I decided to pick up a cuter DHS specific t-shirt. I have sooo many Disney shirts so typically just look and keep on walking, but this one spoke to me and I have worn it many times since purchasing.

Welcome home, Mickey.

We trudged our way to the bus and were back to AKL around 3:15.

First order of business? Nap time! It was glorious. We love our afternoon hotel breaks, no matter the season, but they are absolutely essential in the summer.

We finally got up and moving around 5, made some coffees in to-go cups, and headed to catch the bus to Epcot. We had a few $LLs (Soarin', LwtL, Spaceship Earth) and our fancy ride for Guardians, so we had somewhat of a plan heading in to the park.

First order of business (besides taking in some of the delightful Flower and Garden topiaries) was dinner!

Flower & Garden festival is so pretty!

We are sacrilegious Epcot visitors... despite it being F&G, we did not sample anything from the booths! In fact (Spoiler Alert), we didn't even make it to World Showcase this trip. We did, however, make our way to place with ample A/C and seating: Connections Eatery! We really enjoy the food here. I had placed a mobile order when we entered the park, and luckily we didn't have to wait too long for our food once I had tapped the "I'm Here" as we approached. I had the kids pizza meal with a cutie, fries, and diet coke, and DH had the General Tso Chicken Salad, which is always enjoys. For around $8, the kids meal is a pretty good value here! I also got the carrot cake liege waffle; I think I just prefer the plain kind better.

After a tasty dinner, we browsed Creation Shop, but didn't see any must have items. We headed over to the land to use both of our $LLs!

Time to brave the heat and head to other side of (what I will always call) Future World, haha.

Just a drive by (photo) shooting-- we didn't actually go inside, lol

Up first, Living with the Land. Truly one of my favorite Epcot attractions!

One can simply not have enough photos inside LwtL!

Then of course, a nice flight on Soarin'. Normally, I would have tried earlier in the day to fiddle faddle for Remy or Frozen, but again, with another trip right around the corner, I decided to not be so tied to my phone and only ride the things that had short waits or we had a $LL for. We wandered to Spaceship Earth and Judy Dench took us a on a lovely slow moving trip through time.

At Photo Limit! Day 3 to be continued... What song will we get on Cosmic Rewind??
