Three Broomsticks

DD is thinking about eating at Three Broomsticks. I found a menu and prices on there, but didn't know if you needed reservations or can you just walk in. Is it better to go at one time or another? After looking at the menu, I'm not sure she will want to eat there since there's nothing she would really eat on the menu (doesn't really eat much meat). I think she was thinking it was more pizza, etc. Is there a better place to eat?

Hi there. You don't need reservations but you might want to get there as early as you can. I was there in october and it was pretty quick to get in. It was awesome food as well. DD enjoyed herself so much..... Have a great vacation and enjoy!

Three Broomsticks is a counter service restaurant...reservations are not taken...except for the HP package breakfast...and that's handled through the package. The best restaurant at IOA is Mythos but it can be pricey and since it's table service, it may not be as quick as you would like. For counter service, I would strongly recommend Thunder Falls Terrace...I always eat there and have never had a bad meal. Blondie's is also good if you're in the mood for a huge sandwich...and I do mean huge.

My kids were happy with chicken nuggets from 3 Broomsticks and my oldest loved his salad and baked potato. We also really enjoyed our breakfast. We never found it to be very crowded either.

Make a note to buy your Butterbeer in the Hog's Head...no line compared to LONG lines at the carts outside.

The Hogs Head is simply the bar attached to the Three Broomsticks restaurant. There are a few tables in there.

Three Broomsticks is very good. The corn that was served with my meal was just as good looking as it was tasting. The baked potatoes also looked very appetizing but I already had half a chicken to try and eat. As for not eating a lot of meat Im not sure if that means she eats a lot of vegetables instead or things like french fries and pizzas etc. If she enjoys corn and baked potatoes or such she would probably enjoy 3BS.

And I believe everyone else has said about the same and told you about reservations...

We will be staying on-site, so we are hope to get to the park, an hour before general park opening, and head straight for WWHP.

If we get to WWHP at that time, I think we will finsh up with WWHP before even an early lunch time.

We will probably move to another part of the park, and I don't think it would be worth heading back across the park just to go to the Three Broomsticks for lunch.

What do others think???

I agree...plus if it's very busy, you may not even get back in to WWoHP around midday. I would recommend Thunder Falls Terrace and Blondie's.

We honestly did this... and enjoyed ourselves! We got early entry and then walked all the way through the park only riding JP then returning to lunch. It depends when you're going and how busy the park is going to. We found out when lunch was going to start and got there within 30mins of that time. We went at a very light time though so I would recommend getting their at opening or right after if you would like to eat there.

I will say Metros suggestion is very good... but the theming of 3BS is amazing. This was probably my favorite counter service meal I have EVER eaten at a theme park. It was also very good and fresh. The way they have the ordering and seating set up is also very easy and relaxing. You don't have to worry about hunting for a seat- A CM is right there to do that for you!

I will admit I am a fangirl of 3BS but it was very good and I would recommend giving it a go, esp if you are a HP fan. (I am not but still found it amazing). If the park is going to be busy though, I would not recommend returning. While the food is good and the atmosphere is even better the hassle will ruin it all. If this is so eat a TFT- the chicken is great!
