Three Broomsticks Breakfast

So, I looked at the HP package through the US website. Then I looked at booking Loews Royal Pacific on its own and buying tickets from UT.

It will save me roughly $130. The only thing we lose is the 3 Broomsticks breakfast. We would still have early entry and FOTL pass.

Is there any way to eat breakfast without a reservation if we were to arrive early? I think the only way to reserve it is the package?

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining your thread. Very similar situation, I've booked Royal Pacific for July and am going to buy park tickets independently as I can get a better deal. I would really like to book the breakfast also.
I enquired direct with Universal and they said there wasn't a breakfast except that featured in a package but they also said I could make enquiries nearer the time or on arrival to see if there was any capacity. Hoping someone in DIS knows the facts and some tips. Thanks for posting.
Best Regards,

Don't worry about missing breakfast at Three Broomsticks. You can have lunch or dinner and you can probably still have breakfast if you want. Just check with the person at the front of the restaurant to see if there is space. It all depends on how many package holders booked for that day.

Not at all! I know they would enjoy the breakfast. But, for the price difference, I think we could eat at Three Broomsticks for lunch -- twice! :)

Thanks Damo. Do you know what time they open for the package breakfast we'll be entering the park early of course to join the rush to Hogwarts.

While I don't know the answer to this question, I can tell you I was able to get a reservation by going to Royal Pacific's attractions tickets desk when I arrived. (With only a room reservation.). I had to pay in full at the time, and kept the little tickets they gave me to turn in at 3B as payment. It is possible that availability can effect your ability to do this also.

I know it's possible to also get in by just waiting in standby at the restaurant, but that depends on availability also obviously.

Personally I would plan for breakfast around 9:30a or 10:00a to allow you plenty of time to take advantage of the benefits of early entry.

The breakfast was fine by the way, but not something I would go to a tremendous amount of trouble for.

mesaboy2,
Would you happen to remember what you paid for the breakfast? Ballpark?
Thanks

True! The concierge at all three onsite hotels will sell you the breakfast as long as you are a guest at the resorts...

Is the breakfast a buffet option with the usual suspects on offer or something different? Also if booked in advance via hotel concierge do you get a time slot to turn up for?

Have had lunch there and definatly going back for lunch again this year but hadn't thought about having a breakfast till reading this thread. Sounds a bit differnet and we're not normally breakfast people but i like to try something different each visit.

We'll be staying on site at the PBH so could book with their concierge hopefully.

Cheers.

The breakfast is not a buffet and you do get a reservation.

The menu for it is in the food sticky.

This is great guys. Thanks very much, I'm a newbie on DIS, great to have such info available. Definately going to try for a booking, seems the ballpark not bad given onsite dining can be much more expensive.
