Thread spin off - do stag parties still happen?

While reading poor Fantasmic's thread about bachelorette parties, I was wondering if men still do a crazy stag party. I thought they were going by the wayside since people were getting married older, living together more often, etc. Seriously DH's stag was more for his brother's friends than it was for him. Am I wrong?

Most people I know have one. Not all guys head to strip clubs, some spending the evening playing cards, some spend a day on the links, some guys here spend the weekend at the hunting or fishing camp, or charter boats out for deep sea fishing or diving.

All of my girlfriends have them too, but it also varies what is done. Private parties at home, dinner out, weekends away to New Orleans or the beach, spa day trips and then of course there is a night of bar hopping that some enjoy.

Still happen here. I am not sure how "crazy", but they do happen.

DH just went to one with for his cousin, he actually brought DS14. It was at a local hall, and they had a poker tournament to raise $ for the groom. My son won 2nd prize, lol. It was 25$ to enter, and he won 125$, lol. They had it catered.

The younger ones did go downtown after. They met up with the bachelorette, and the pictures on FB seem rather fun.

Surely some get out of hand.
