Hi all!!! Just popping in to say hi. I see Kim popped in. :) I have been on the Theme Park boards a lot the past week tying up loose ends. There is something about my plans I just don't like...not sure what yet. I signed up for touringplans.com. Not real crazy about it, but hey, it was 8 bucks.

I read back a little:

D&D- I responded to your poll. I am not a football follower at all! I didn't even know who the guy was ha ha. DH answered for me.

The number 1 song the day I was born Oct 26th 1968 was "hey jude"

Lightech- Aug 16th or early Aug 17th. 7lbs 15 oz 21-1/2 inches long. I have been practicing my Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo. :dance3:

Hey, have any of you ever eaten at Captains Grill btw?

OH!! My Mom signed up on here (she will never post I bet) she is peppersmom. I made her since the "Unofficial Guide" website almost had her talked out of EPCOT! :scared1: :scared1:

pepper-you have to tell your mom to at least pop on over and say hi to us. How did that website almost talk her out of going to Epcot? I love Epcot. All the different kinds of food and drinks.

Never been to Captains Grill.

Ok, you have to pick one day for baby lighttech's appearance. We need a time too. I've done real good saving everyone's guesses as they make them. Are you just trying to make this difficult for me? :lmao:

Good Evening all! Had to come in and post so I can give myself sometime to calm down. I just finished watching the third movie in the Bourne Series "The Bourne Ultimatum". Dang is Matt Damon HOT!:lovestruc I'm not usually much of an action fan but the chase and fight scenes, HOT HOT HOT! They really got my heart a pumping. I just googled to see if he may come back to do another Bourne movie and rumor has it 2010. I guess earlier in the year he said no way but the lastest was mention this past June. I so hope the info is true. I would pay evening movie prices to see it and that is saying alot. (I only do matinees because of the price. )

I think I'll go get a drink of water. Maybe that will calm me down.

Good morning Tkers!

I have a question that I hope you can help me with. How do I change my avatar? I've tried to change it a couple of times but once I've gone to my User CP to "Edit Avatar" and plug in the address for the picture, smilie, etc that I want it always tells me it's to big. I do the right click to view how big it is and the pixels are alway smaller then the 100x100 that they say I can use. What am I doing wrong?

Afternoon!! It's getting ready to storm here.

Pikester-I had that problem when trying to change my avatar too. I think it has to do with the kilobytes of the picture. Even if the size is correct, they end up being too many kilobytes. I don't know how to fix that so I eventually gave up on getting the picture I wanted as my avatar.

Quick hi!
Strong storm's rolling thru here today.... and I'm trying to bust out some serious work on DSs room so I can move him in tomorrow and start cleaning what will be the baby's room.

On that note... y'all need to stop rushing me! Somebody predict I'm going to have this baby a day or two late, will ya!?!?! :rotfl: I'll never have this house ready in a week! :rotfl:

Also, I've picked up DSs cold, and its quickly descending into a sinus infection again... I'm so tired of this. I'd really like to get over it before the little one arrives. (Plus, its making me even slower than I already am normally... and pregnant.)

Ok, thunders booming again, I guess I should turn off DHs laptop...

Take care!

Evening!!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

lighttech-don't worry, you will get everything done. Sorry, you're sick...hope you feel better soon.

Morning everyone! Hope all had a nice weekend. Bad storms yesterday, funny every August we get cooler weather you think oh it feels like fall then bam back to summer, well it's a nice break from the heat and A/C.
Went and read what I missed the past week.
Pepper prayers are still with you and Dad I would think they would be able to figure out what is going on, but maybe it's a good thing that if it's not that clear cut it could turn out better then what they originally thought:goodvibes.

Kim glad you checked in, they seem like some long hours. Though I do know some people that make very good money as a service writer, so hopefully it will pay off and after hours of work you will make more then $30.00 in tips:thumbsup2.
To cute about the jr. TK'ers letter writing, though I must have missed that when it started:confused3, maybe it started on the 30 pgs I didn't finish.

Well DN and Hope left Saturday:sad2: really miss them, was strange took them to the airport, then DD had work and DS was at a friends. The house just seemed so quiet and empty.:sad2:
Yesterday we were invited down to a friends boat but the weather was bad so there went that fun day. Instead DH pulled out some boxes from the crawl space that we never unpacked from when we moved which is coming up on 2 years. Um, guess it's true out of sight out of mind.
Yikes can't believe a few of you are starting back to school which at this point in the summer I think my kids would even welcome it.

I'm here Disney54us!!!!!

Just checking in to let you know I'm here. Have to go back and catch up.

Wow... you all are sooo young with your songs from the 70s.:hippie:

My song was 1968 - I heard it through the grape vine - Marvin Gaye

I am almost done school shopping for the boys. We are reusing backpacks and some supplies from last year that were still in good condition. Also taking advantage of those cheap sales...22cent Crayola crayons...9cent box of pencils...10cent folders & notebooks. Biggest expense so far was the lunchboxes. $7 just seems like a lot - and that's on sale. However, it does save us a bunch packing lunches instead of buying them. (I do let the kids pick their favorite foods each month and then give them lunch money to buy it)

Kim - glad you checked in.

Racetrack - I will get around to adding the missing magsnden soon.

New mattress arrives today!!!! Can't wait to go to sleep tonight. Maybe DH's back will finally feel better after sleeping on that pillowtop. :cloud9:

Afternoon!!!! It's raining here again. It's really cool out too. I really hope the temps stay low for the wedding.

disney54us-I saw you on here this morning but I just couldn't get time to post. Kids were fighting which means I had to play referee. Sometimes I am so looking forward to school starting.

D&DDisney-I still have to get backpacks for this year. I have been buying all the other supplies slowly as I find them on sale. Now if I only had a place to store them all till school starts.

Hi D&D:wave2: aw I missed you. Please do tell what stores have been having these great sales? 22 Why cant I find my cent key:confused3 I do believe Apples don't have them just like that cute little slash key you would use over the e in cafe or saute. Any how, I need to get DS a bunch of stuff, DD hey a 5 subject notebook and a pen works:rotfl2:.

Hi racer chicky, I see your on now. I was on the recipe site typing some long recipe that was in the DVC mag. It is a recipe from the flying fish. I love to cook but this one is very involve but there are some on that thread that are professional's so I knew they would enjoy it.
Need to go for now. Trying my best to keep up:dance3:
later

Oh D&D :cool1: just saw the part about the mattress:banana: We need a new one too. Do let us know how you like. There are so many these days that I'm not sure I would be able to choose.

ATTNENTION, UM ATTENTION   :cool1:
Look at my siggie:dance3: I've got the magsnden and the Thread Killers:dance3: :yay:
Okay, okay:scared: :sad2: just b/c it was DS-10 who did it for me:sad2: and I do have a copy and paste:cheer2: how in the world:confused: he just zip,zip and :wizard: poof!

Hey all on this rainy day in upstate NY! Just a quick shout out before I go back and read all that I've missed the past few days....had lots of plans/fun over the weekend and just trying to get everything taken care of, stuff that should have been done days and days ago. TTYL!

Addendum: All caught up, I think!

Let's see: my guess for Baby Lighttech: arrival August 19th, 9:35 pm, male, 21 inches, 8 lbs 4 oz. Absolutey adorable.

So, how did the mattress do?

The Olympics will destroy me this week. I love the Olympics. Was up after midnight last night watching Michale Phelps and the relay. Trying to sneak in some water polo right now. I thought the Opening Ceremonies were incredible. Watched it with family and friends on Friday. I like the cheer for the countries that have the one Olympian. How cool.

Darn it, can't remember much else....must go back! Sister and friend came up for the weekend. Went to an open house at the doll store and I won a door prize of a beautiful doll dressed as a ballerina. Spent way too much money on a Melanie doll from Gone With the Wind. And an Alice from Alice in wonderland. Met fellow Geeks. Ate too much. Good weekend.

Don't forget to make your guess for baby lighttech.

MagiKitty-added you to the list. :thumbsup2 I love the Olympics too. I got a little loud when we won the swimming gold last night. :rotfl:

Hey everyone! Just taking a minute or 2 of "me" time before I go get DS who is obviously NOT taking a nap today. However, he IS in his Big Boy Bed in his new room!! He was so excited, he jumped right in when he ran in the room. That might be part of the sleeping issue. (Normally, I wouldn't expect anything out of him, but w/ this cold, he's been taking a good rest and I was hoping he would today.) But, I am hoping that already having "slept" (sort of) in it once today may take the edge off of his first full night in there tonight.

Ok, gotta get some of this laundry done. Blew the morning wandering around w DS and DM at one of the fancier shopping centers around (nice brick walkways, overpriced coffee, etc.). I'm glad we did, its a beautiful day down here... quite unexpectedly pleasant. But I need to make up for a little lost time now.

Take care everybody!

Well, I had to comment on this one!

Still waiting for the mattress delivery. :headache: Hope it is soon.

Yeah Disney54us....our tech guru's secret is...HER SON. Proud of you anyway. The cheap school supplies have been at Wal-Mart (22cent crayons, 10cent notebooks & folders) and Walgreens (last weeks ad). Some good deals at Office Depot or Office Max but none near our house, so I missed out.

Racetrack - Wal-mart had some decent backpacks for $10 & $15. Debating getting one as a back up because half way through the year, when nothing is on sale, DS will surely rip or destroy his.

Magikitty - Been watching the Olympics too. Watched the opening ceremony. Loved the geography lesson. Besides the USA, we have a special place in our heart for Bulgaria (Near Greese & Black Sea) because that is where my DS10 was adopted from. He was soooo excited to see them come in and notice some similarities between himself and those athletes.

Hey, I'm not getting any email notices!

Oh, forgot to say Hi again Kim! Seems you're super-busy, but it seems to be working out. Don't be a stranger, and hope all is going well.

Racetrack, I've been having some great sales at Staples. My Staples and Wal-Mart are across the street from each other, so I have Staples price-match the advertised Wal-Mart price (its always so crazy in Wal-Mart!). I got free glue today, notebooks with the durable plastic covers, markers, and index cards today. They seem to be having sales every week.

D&D...that is so cool about your DS and Bulgaria. If I had known that, I would have cheered extra loud for them too. My family was cheering so loudly for the Philippines, we missed the commentary. We don't know what we're competing in. And don't even ask how loudly I was cheering for the relay last night! It was so good to make the Frenchies eat their words! (Not true Olympian spirit, I know...). Men's gymnastics tonight!
