Hi Mel-

Up for a challenge? I just got back from my son's Pre-K class and the teacher informed me they are doing something for Chinese New Year on Monday. I know this is last minute, if you get a chance can you design a candy envelope with that theme. Maybe a red envelope since that's the color. I don't know if there are any Disney characters dressed up in oriental outfits or not. Then I can put a little something in there for the teachers to pass out that day. I'm going to go pick up some fourtune cookies for the class as well. If you can't, I totally understand. Thanks for your help.

I just had to share with you. I loved the Mulan idea, so I got somewhat inspired to try to do mini hershey bars. My knowledge of Photoshop is very limited so I'm not good with backgrounds. I just do solid ones now. I love the one clip art of Mushu that I used it for the mini hershey bar and I found this one of Mulan for the girls in the class.

I want to put a Chinese emblem on the flap, but haven't found one yet.

I found these 2 clip arts as circles, so I'm going to make up the hershey kiss labels for them.
Then I'm going to put all the goodies into the envelope you made.
Well gotta run-gotta get the 3 boys ready for their soccer games tonight.

Thank you so much for the compliment. It means alot coming from you. I don't think I'm ready. I'm still trying to learn borders and gradients. I dion't know how to put a border around a picture. I'm slowly getting there. My boys keep me very busy. Not much free time to learn, because I spend it doing little projects for their class. Plus, I'm not creative like all you Disigners out there. My brain is mostly analytical and I have a tough to coming up with something new on my own.

Hi Mel-

Thank you so much. I have been so busy with the various projects. Thank goodness the soccer party is next weekend. Monday is the 100th day of school celebration for 2 of my boys. This past Friday my 1st grader had a SuperBowl celebration at school. So, I cranked out more candy wrappers. Now I'm working on the 100th day, but just realized I don't have anything to put the candies in. I don't have time to do the envelopes. So, I was wondering if you could come up with a bag topper. The boys are in 1st and 3rd grade.

I haven't had a chance to download pictures yet of the Chinese New year stuff. They all turned out cute. I'll post when I get a chance. I can't wait until Spring Break so I can rest a little bit.

Hope all is going well. Also, sorry about the short notice once again.

Awww...come on....I'm not the creative one. I have a brain block right now. Here is what I have so far from others:

I have this from Telynn for the hershey bar, mint matchbook, and nuggets.

This from Kellybell-I was going to do iron ons and put on little totes to put the stuff in, but now I don't have time. I think I'll use it for a shirt for my boys or stickers.
