We will be staying at CBR Jan 31 - Feb 6 and have our park reservations for each park planned but do have park hoppers. I made some reservations but I always second guess myself. Since I am the only breakfast eater we will not be doing breakfasts in the parks and just do it in the room. Please give me your thoughts and feedback.

01/31 Magic Kingdom - MK closes at 6 pm - Homecoming (730)

02/01 Epcot - lunch at Via Napoli (1220) and dinner at San Angel (645)

02/02 Hollywood Studios - Ogas (12) and dinner at 50's at (730)

02/03 Animal - Rainforest (1145) - really not sure about this one!!

02/04 Hollywood - Sci-Fi (1245)

02/05 Magic - Dinner Beaches and Cream (645) If magic Kingdom closes at 6, do we have time to make it there. Its our last day so I don't want to cancel but I am sure we will want to stay until close!

Please tell me your honest thoughts! Thanks.

We love dinner at 50’s PTC. Also, we always have lunch at Rainforest Cafe on our AK day really enjoy it. Not too crazy about Sci-FI but others seem to like it. We were at Beaches once and it was pretty good but I would not miss park time for it. Not sure what the transportation is like now but prior to COVID always had to allow travel time especially with buses. Have not been to the other places on your list.

Looks pretty good!

If this was my trip I would choose Yak & Yeti instead of Rainforest.

For Beaches and Cream, can you move it to your Epcot or Hollywood Studios day? This would make it much more convenient. I would make it about 30mins to an hour after park closes and then just walk from the park.

To me, since the parks reopened Sci-Fi quality has went down a bit and Beaches and Cream to us has been better than ever. I wouldn’t want to miss Beaches and Cream!

Have fun!

On your first day you will be cutting it close if you stay until closing. There are no direct buses from the park to Disney Springs so you will have to go through a hotel.

If you can, I would easily switch Rainforest for Yak and Yeti. Rainforest food stinks to high heaven. Yak and Yeti was a very good food with better prices than lesser quality meals we had at other places in the parks.

I'd axe Rainforest cafe. That's not really Disney.
Do Yak & Yeti.

You have some of our favorites there. Via Napoli, San Angel, Sci Fi.
My kids love Yak and Yeti, and I would love to try Tiffins. We probably wouldn't do Rainforest Cafe.
I would be nervous about getting the Beaches and Cream in time, and I wouldn't want to leave MK early. I wouldn't want to feel rushed on our last night.

Beach and Cream from MK can be a long haul. You’d be best off taking the Beach Club Bus from MK.

I would also skip Rainforest Cafe. There is a lot of good food in AK.
I agree with this. See if you can get a late ADR at the Plaza or go to Whispering Canyon Cafe at say 7:30. AK day we enjoy the CS they have, but on that note the RFC at AK we have gotten good service and the food is good for what it is.

As others have already said, I would choose a quick service location inside AK or Yak & Yeti over Rainforest Cafe. There are so many other great food options in AK.

Homecomin' is amazing. We had brunch there on our trip back in January and would eat there again in a heartbeat. With your Beaches and Cream ADR, you can always check to see if a later time opens up to ensure that you have plenty of time to get to BC.

I think you have excellent ADRs for your upcoming trip!

I wouldn't keep the Rainforest ressie. Maybe Yak & Yeti, but honestly my family loves the QS in AK. Our favorites are Flame Tree BBQ and Satu'li Canteen.

I don't know if you can still do it, but I love to order a slice of the mango pie to go at the Yak & Yeti. You can pick it up at the bar and it so super yummy!

Oga's Cantina is more like snacks. You might need something more around that time. I haven't gotten to try any of the food in Star Wars Land, but maybe that could be an option...

I am not sure how much time you want to dedicate to eating, but on your AK day you could also try Sanaa at the AKL. Super yummy!

On the time thing, 2 TS in one day at Epcot take up a lot of time. You will be there during the Arts Festival and if they have the food booths set up they have super yummy food. You can look ahead of time and see if there is anything that appeals to you. It is fun to have everyone set up their own choices.

I am jealous of you getting to try Homecoming, I haven't been there yet. I am also jealous of your Beaches and Cream ressie. We have only eaten there once, so many years ago, but I have fun memories of my kids being little and having so much fun there.

Sci-Fi Dine In is a family favorite. It is a must for us. The kids love eating in the car and the cheesy movie clips.

Sounds like a great trip! Have fun and stay safe!

thanks for all your replies.. I have some very picky eaters. Is Yak & Yeti good for picky eaters?

I guess I will have to go back to the drawing board. I really want to try beaches and cream but I didn't realize I would be cutting it close. would it be worth it for an uber? we do have 5 people so price would go up.

i think I am going to cancel rainforest. I am constantly looking at Satu'li Canteen but I worry about the picky eaters.

I really agree on the two table service for Epcot but we are unsure if we will make it there two days and we don't want to miss them. I am trying to change times to space it out more but I am not having luck.

thanks for the input!!

would definitely drop Rainforest and try and grab Tiffins. We were just there in early Dec. and it was one of the best dinners I've had. Yak & Yeti would be my second choice if available. To me, Rainforest is just too chain-like and Animal Kingdom offers far better options than that. San Angel is a good EP choice. We did Chefs de France and loved it!

They have cheeseburger pods or the wrapped hot dog. Or a cheese quesadilla. (It's mobile order, so you could totally order those for adults if the picky ones are adult.)

If they won't eat those, I'd just get them something elsewhere and let the people willing toeat other stuff eat at Satu'li. It's THAT good. (And honestly the beef or chicken with the salad or rice and black bean base is NOT that exotic - especially if you ask them the leave the slaw and sauce off of it.)

Rainforest Cafe - unless they've really changed their menu from the last time I was at one of their other locations (they're not "like a chain", they ARE a chain) - is more than chicken nuggets and uncrustables (which is usually what "picky eaters" seem to eat) so I'm not sure what they were planning to eat there.

We just ate at Yak and Yeti for a 2nd time this trip!! Yes, they have kid menu items for picky kids. So yummy!

I second that Satu'li can work for picky eaters. My little one asks to go there for the quesadilla. We like it because it’s “really food” not just nuggets. The hot dog is a little on the different side, so just a heads up on that.
