Good morning all!!

We are starting to look at what reservations we are going to make for this trip, and I was hoping for a little feedback on thoughts for what we have or any "hidden gems" that we don't have on here. Our dining will be anywhere from a party of 3 (inc. DS who will be 5) to 6 and we are looking to try a few new places this time... So far we have the following:

Boma (dinner) - we are staying at Kidani Village, thinking about doing this arrival day
Ohana (breakfast)

Magic Kingdom
Tony's Town Square - we have always walked by here wondering and thought we should give it a shot this year
Liberty Tree Tavern

EPCOT
Garden Grill - has become a staple of our trips
Biergarten

Animal Kingdom
Tusker House (breakfast)

Hollywood Studios
Sci-Fi Drive In

Also, DW wants to try some new snacks while we are there. We discovered the cupcakes at Starring Rolls in DHS a few trips ago, and were wondering if anyone has any other places similar to recommend. BTW, we are going from 11/3-11/10 (last week of food/wine) and running the 5k on 11/9, so trying to take those into consideration also.

Thanks all!!

Your choices are great. We've been to most of them. Biergarten is always a must do for us.

We enjoyed Boma more than the kids did, but they still found plenty they liked to eat.

Our new favorite character breakfast is Crystal Palace. The food is delicious and if you can snag a reservation before the park opens you can get some amazing pictures before the crowd arrives.

My DS (who is just turning 6) still says his favorite is Chef Mickeys. We love Ohana for breakfast and dinner too.

Another great place for kids is Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wildnerness Lodge. We went there for dinner and it was wonderful. If you like BBQ this is a great choice. The skillets are amazing, the kids loved the s'mores dessert and the milkshakes. The wait staff is really funny and they have the kids do a stick pony race. We went from MK to Wilderness Lodge by ferry which is a fun way to get there.

Again if you like BBQ I suggest Flame Tree in AK. It is quick service and you can eat outside and get a great view of Everest. The cast member who helped us with our trays said it is the hidden picture spot in AK and that was very true. It was a beautiful backdrop to eat lunch and take pictures.

Have you been to Goofy's Candy Company in DTD? You can make your snack. You can dip marshmallows, pretzels or bananas in chocolate and add toppings. It's pretty yummy! Otherwise we tend to stick to Dole Whips, Cupcakes and Ice Cream from Plaza at MK or Boardwalk.

I'm not ashamed to say, we have tried all of those with the exception of Flame Tree (this will by our sons 4th trip at 5years old). I feel like every time we have gone, we have done the same restaurants because of the service, food, characters, etc... I told my wife this time I wanted to break from the norm as DS is getting older and hopefully more experimental with his culinary choices.

Thanks for the tips on Flame Tree and the snacks...we will have to make sure to check out Goofy's while in downtown!
