1) Our family really enjoyed the hotel. The room was spacious for our family of four. Each evening when we came back from the parks, the kids would go down to the pool area and played ping pong, shuffle board, putt putt golf, or played Nintendo 64 in the room to unwind. The weather was very warm on our last day so they went into the pool which was a fantastic one, splashed around and had a great time.

2) We used the free shuttle every day to go to the parks and were very pleased with it. It beat the hassle of driving and parking, plus it dropped off closer to the parks so it was only a short walk to the park entrance.

3) The hotel is about 5 or 10 minutes away from Publix grocery store. We stocked up our refrigerator with soft drinks and Caprisun, and bought sandwich bread, fresh fruit, etc. Each morning we packed two cold Caprisuns in our fanny packs and the kids got a cool drink the moment they wanted one. Fast, easy ... and cheap.

4) Be sure to bring body lotion. I thought that body lotion was a basic toiletry item at every hotel so I did not bring any. I forgot to buy some at Publix so I had to put up with dry skin for six days.

5) If you stay in a building near the pool, ask for a higher floor such as 4th or above. Otherwise it could be noisy, especially on warmer days when the pool is filled with children.

That's about all, folks!

How was the breakfast buffet and what did it consist of? is the suite spacous enough for 6 people?. how were the restaurants? thank you.

The breakfast buffet, in my opinion, is just okay. I think the quality is less than average. They have pancakes and sausages one morning, french toast and bacon the next, then back to pancakes and sausages, etc. Everyday items include eggs which I heard was absolutely yucky so I did not touch, fresh fruit such as cantaloupe or honeydew or oranges, canned fruit and puddings, cereal, muffins, bagels, etc., plus milk, orange juice, coffee. If you are not a picky eater, you could fill up a plate and enjoy it. But I mainly stayed with pancakes, french toast, sausages, and fresh fruit which tasted better than other items.

Our Kid suite has a king bed, a double pull out (which could fit two but probably a little tight), two bunk beds and a pull out cot. The bunk beds looked small and cramped but a small teenager or adult might be okay in it, and the cot was pretty wobbly and tiny and might be okay for a small child only.

We did not eat at the hotel restaurants. We bought pizza, chicken strips from Pizza Hutt in the lobby a few times and had a quick lunch in the room in order to take a quick nap afterwards. For dinner, we ate at restaurants in the area.

thank you for your quick reply. We really would rather stay in a 2bedroom/2bath suite else but they are so expensive so HIFS will have to do.
