We have the dining plan and are thinking of trying the Garden Grill at Epcot. I'm looking for either lunch or dinner reviews. Thanks in advance!!!

but we have not been since they had the old menu. Have they changed it back? or is it still the new menu?

Weve been there several times. Good character interaction, cool atmosphere and decent food. Here's the menu in case you havent seen it.

This last trip, we were on the dining plan and we ate at LeCellier Steakhouse in Canada. Great food and something we couldnt have afforded without the dining plan. Our bill was 175 dollars, nearly twice the amount we paid for the dining plan for that day.

We always enjoyed the old menu. We did not try the transition menu, no trips were planned then, but we went in December after they sort of went back to the original menu and loved it more than ever.

We like to get our money's worth and this place has always been a favorite because of the ambience and food. The current menu is an upgraded version of the original and the extra touches of spices and sauces are superb. I do not miss the cobbler at all and was awed by the new dessert which consists of small amounts of several selections, all of them fantastic.

It is a wonderful oasis in the midst of an otherwise hectic day.

We were there in Dec, and it is at least as good as it has been in the past. The dessert is definitely better. I think the veggies are better and the salad worse than in previous visits. We've eaten there every year since 2001!

Thanks for the link to your dining review. Great review of Garden Grill and the other restaurants.

We love this restaurant. It's small so character interaction is good plus it rotates and the food happens to be good too - lol - really it doens't get any better than that :)

Were just there last week for a delicious lunch and have to say, this is an underrated restaurant. Here's why.

The food is not so different than the Liberty Tree Tavern - family style platters of flank steak, catfish, turkey, potatoes, very freshly sauteed veggies (all at table agreed that everything was delicious). The character greets are numerous and convenient -- they come around the inner and outer circle and there's no confusion or worry that they won't. The place is a comfortable and restful sit-down of sanity in a now very busy Land pavillion.

But Epcot and, specifically the World Showcase, bubbles over with a variety of interesting and enjoyable restaurant alternatives. So GGrill sometimes gets overlooked. If this place was in TomorrowLand, you couldn't get an ADR. The day we went (the Land was packed), it was 2/3rd's empty.

Possibly the wonderful refurbishment of the Seasons Marketplace (or whatever it's now called) downstairs has had a negative affect as well. But we thought the Garden Grill was a fantastic dining experience.
