Thoughts on Via Napoli

After a number of visits I wrote a review of our experiences at Via Napoli in the World Showcase. We are big fans.

Did you try any of their pastas? I want to get some feedback from anyone who ordered something besides the pizza.

Their rigatoni (chicken and cream) is really good. It is simple and straightforward, but at least the night we had it, it was top notch. (To be fair, I saw someone else review the same dish and they were not happy -- pasta wasn't cooked properly for them -- so like most any restaurant/dish review, I reckon there are times you've just got to take a chance.)

There are also some very nice appetizers and desserts. Again with the simplicity, but at that same meal, I had the pistachio gelato, and I swore it immediately became my favorite dessert on property...and that's a pretty tough list to get on - ha!

I can't bring myself to order pasta liking the pizza so much but I'm glad you liked your rigatoni.

I agree, VN is great! You also got my favorite app, the arancini. They are sooo good! My new favorite pizza is the carciofi - yum!

Yes, excellent place! The arancini was tasty and the prosciutto and melone pizza is my favorite so far..

What size is the pepperoni pizza in your review?

I have been there once with just DH, we had the salad and shared an individual pizza. Two of those pieces were enough for me but DH had wished for another slice. I will be there next week as a party of four, wondering how many or what sized pizzas to order.

One was the larger size and one was the smaller. I think I had posted two photos.
