Hi there.....considering a trip during that time frame and am having trouble deciding based upon the fact that from what I can tell the parks have shorten hours...is this true?

Also.....I have been to WDW mostly in July....so would the weather be much different?

How about the crowds??

With the hours most likely being shorten should that affect what resort I choose? Maybe a Deluxe with more features....your thoughts? Or splitting a stay...

I was only in WDW in July once but have been to the parks 5 times in AUgust. I love Aug especially late in AUg. The crowds are smaller evn though the hours are shorter. I have been there the last week in AUg and loved it.

I am also from Jersey (Monmouth County by the shore) and the last two years we have gone to Disney the 3rd week in AUg. Both in 2002 and 2003 when we got home the weatherman reported that the weather in Jersey was over 90 for the entire week we were gone. Both years the temps were in the high 80's but not the 90's. Yes there will be rain. SOmetines a lot but that is the same in Jersey in Aug.

The last week in Aug is one of my favorite times to go.

We will head back this August from the 17-24. We figured we would take advantage of longer hours the first few days and lighter crowds the last. MK hours are shorter but Epcot & MGM are still open in the evenings so there is still plenty to do.
