Thoughts on the new Lanyard Series Pins?

So, have you all had a chance to take a look at the new Lanyard Series of pins at WDW? What are your thoughts on them? I personally LOVE them and think that it is a fantastic way to continue to encourage pin trading. It will help to get new pins on the lanyards.

I can't wait until my next trip down (which is a long way off) to try to trade for these pins. I only hope that they continue to make a lanyard series, offering different pins during the year.

I think it is a great idea!! Now there will be more than flex pins and TDS pins on the lanyards! And they are really nice pins...

And hey! you guys who live by WDW...leave some for the rest of us, will ya?

There will be a lot of out of towners down here this week and week end, so they will be ready for us...i already forwarned the Cont. and they are trying to get some over for our pin meet....

If we get extras, we will save them to trade w/ you guys when you come down and see us.....

It is a ball of fun. We were down at WDW last week and my 5 1/2 year old who is relatively new to pin collecting was able to trade for 200 of her own pins from the CM's lanyards during the week, of course she used 200 of Daddy's traders to get those pins, but thats a different story.

She was able to get all 9 lanyard pin series pins between last Thursday and Friday.

I think Winking Mickey and USA Donald are the best, and the USA Donald, Running Lucky, and Topiary Minnie were the hardest for us to find.

Hey Judith...it is a whole new series of pins that Disney released that are only available on the CM lanyards...even stamped so on the back.....very nice bunch of pins at that..

If you go to either Dizneypins.com or Dizpins. they have pictures of them there...

I didn't realize what the whole idea behind them was at first......thought it was like the My First series where you purchased the pin, lanyard etc. BUT I love this IDEA!!!!!!
I think the whole pin trading with CM's is a wonderful idea.....gives you plenty to chat about and more interaction......I think also fun for the CM too! My son had each CM he traded with sign his autograph book and we took a pic.....makes for great memories!

According to Eddie who made his pin quest all over property last night, the lanyard pins are all over... and he didn't have one trader w/ him....He did get a nice "gift" though from one of the CM 's a new cm 100 yrs of magic pin..and a new travel pin w/ Chip & Dale...

bunch of new pins out there...this should be a fun week end
