Thoughts on Restaurantosaurus in AK?

At the last minute, I am trying to get an early ADR for a character meal on the day we leave (don't laugh). The only thing available is at Restaurantosaurus in AK. It will be a week from Monday so still in the current location. I can't find out much info on it. I have two girls, ages 4 and 6. Will they enjoy this? Is the breakfast good (can't find a menu online)? We are not on the dining plan.

Our ADR is at 8:20 and I think we need to be back at POFQ by 10:30 for ME (our flight is at 2 and the ME docs say they pick up 3 hours before the flight). Is that too tight?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Haven't eaten there, but the timing is very close! I would not attempt a morning ADR with such a close pickup. The meals need to allot between 1 -1 1/2 hr then to get back to buses, and then waiting time to return. You could think about getting a cab back, but it still might be cutting it close. You might be better trying for a late night dinner the sunday night then sleep in a bit and have BF at resort. Good luck

save your time & money! Went in June as a walk up. Terrible service & food.
Keep trying! Kona is delicious for breakfast. I would consider a walk up right when the restaraunt opens.:flower3:

Can you be at the Cape May Cafe at 7:30 in the morning. I have a ressie there for 4. Im sure they would accomadate 1 more kiddie. You would need your own car. Let me know.

Thank you so much but we won't have access to a car.

We LOVED it when we went a couple of years ago. (We were all adults, but the kids around us seemed to love it too.) I'm usually not a big fan of the WDW breakfast machine because there are WAY too many eggs around and I just despise the texture and taste of eggs. But I found plenty of non-egg options to keep me happy.

We really liked it the first time we went, but the last time, in 2004 wasn't so good. We had to wait for 40 minutes past our ADR. The food wasn't good--like it had been sitting out for awhile. OUr waiter was a little short with us. Decent character interaction though.

I wouldn't cut it that close though.
