Thoughts on Omni and Championsgate?

We just stayed at the Omni end of Dec./Jan for a business conference. It was gorgeous and the pool area is amazing. My DD's loved it. I'm not sure about the regular rooms as we were upgraded(by my DH's Sales Director)to a suite with 2 rooms right before we arrived. It is a beautiful hotel though, so I imagine the regular rooms are extremely nice. Everyone there was extremely accomodating. We'll be there again in Dec. and I can't wait!

We got the OMNI on a priceline bid. The place was very relaxing, quiet and although we only stayed 1 night, we toured the hotel and found it to be a very enjoyable hotel.

Just got back from WDW last week. Our first night was at Championsgate through Priceline at $79.00. We received a room overlooking the pool and golf course. Very nice place though a bit far from WDW for me. However it would be a great place to stay for a couple of extra days for the pools and golfing. If you have kids the pool areas are awesome.

I just recently read on the Omni website that one of the pools is heated, but I would be interested in hearing from people who have been there if that's really true.

Also very curious to see if pools are heated. I sure hope so as I will be staying for 3 nights the end of December.
