Hello,
we are taking my at time of travel 7 year old daughter on her first disney trip at the end of August (i know its going to be hot not our first choice but its the only time we can go) with that being said we are planning our days out and I think we have a pretty good plan its the last two full days I am tosiing around what to do so here is what I have so far

arrival

8/24 early our plane lands 8:30 am so we planned on starting off our trip in MK (no meals planned for this day probably a quick service meal)maybe trying to catch one or both parades & possibly the nighttime fireworks though we may meet up with friends on this evening who moved to florida this is up in the air

8/25 with magic hours we plan on doing HS eating (B) at H&V for the disney JR exp & (D) H&V for the fantasmic pkg

8/26 with magic hours we plan on doing (D) at the tusker house for the rivers of light package

8/27 as per our disney planners suggestion which I like we are going to split this day and do Epcot in the first 3/4 of the day doing (B) at the Akerhus then we plan on attending the MNSSHP that evening

this is where things get tough my original plan was to do MK on 8/28 and leave thurs open for anything we may have missed or wanted to see again purchasing only base tickets it did not make sense for us to purchase hoppers for only one day thurs is where we could have used them but I could not see spending the extra $ for hoppers if we were going to only utilize them (maybe) for one day

so this was my original plan we are still not sure which day we are going to do it but we want to take my daughter to bippity boppity boop

so as per my original plan

8/28 MK (maybe Bippity boutique) then (d) crystal palace

8/29 (B) polynesian Ohana then leaving this day open most likely hitting MK then finishing up this day ending in Disney springs (we could do Bippity this day vs Wed not sure where we want to slot this in yet) leaving the evening to relax at the resort.we planned on doing DS Friday morning but our flight is at 1:45 so that does not leave time to do this

my Disney planner has been great so I trust everything she has suggested so far but her suggestion is to flip flop wed & thurs her thoughts are with us attending the MNSSHP on 8/27 maybe it would be better to spend the morning at disney springs do our shopping and doing boppity there then heading to MK that evening.choose which day I prefer to do Ohana and leave thursday as my last full park day.

I am not really sure which day would be better to do the full park day I understand her thinking with us attending the Mickey party tues night we may want to take a breather wed morning then do full day thurs.

I am thinking more along the lines of by Thurs we are going to be spent especially in the hot summer heat so Thursday may be the better day to make an easy day of it do breakfast hit MK,do disney springs then wrap it up at the resort.

not sure which way I want to go just curious to hear some opinions of what others would do I know I did not mention QS meals those will be sprinkled in wherever we may need them we decided to do the standard dining plan dining plan vs pay out of pocket is pretty much a push add the snacks in and the dining plan comes out ahead thats why we are going the dining plan route

thank-you

I agree with your travel agent that by Day #5 (August 28), you may really need some downtime -- especially after doing MNSSHP the night before.

I think your idea makes sense of leaving a day open to decide which park you want to repeat. However, I would still go ahead and line up Fast Passes for the park which you suspect will be your choice. If you decide on AK, you'll be glad to have an FoP FP lined up, and ditto re HS for SDD.

The Fantasmic and RoL packages require that your ADR be 3 hours prior to showtime, meaning your "dinner" would have to start no later than 4 or 5 depending on show schedule that time of year. For your HS day, two buffets spaced so close together just seems lime a LOT of food to me. Why not put the fantasmic package on the breakfast?
