We have gone to various resorts to have dinner each night from POR Riverside and have used Lyft, which works really well but we had a couple of drivers who were unfamiliar with the route even though they all had GPS guidance. Coming back from AKL the other night we got 'taken for a ride' by our driver who had no idea where he was going, I had to get out my phone to guide him after 20 extra minutes of driving around. The World is no longer and easy place to get around in, especially at night. Everything is, what I think, overbuilt and too fast. It is all limited access now and you really need to navigate your way, especially when you go all the way across the World like we did, from POR to AKL.There is lots of construction and detours and roads totally change from one year to the next so be aware when traveling between parks and resorts.

Yes, when we have a car I always navigate based on Disney’s road signs while DH drives! And when we don’t have a car, we try to avoid having to travel from one resort to another late in the evening when Disney transport isn’t available.

Good to know!

2 yr ago, we had some challenges with Uber/Lyft because our driver did not speak any English and we didn't speak any Spanish, AND he was a newer driver to the area and didn't know where anything was yet.
