Thoughts on a New Year's Trip Booking Now

Our family are BLT owners and currently have a MK Studio reserved for December 17-23. Unfortunately, my school district changed the traditional calendar and we are looking to reschedule. At the moment, we are thinking of trying to go down December 30-January 3. I'm sure BLT will not have availability during New Year's, but what resorts, if any, will have studio availability at 7 months out? Thanks.

I highly doubt you will find anything for Dec 30th-Jan 1st, 7 months out.
Sorry... You can always waitlist and hope for the best...

Don't assume there isn't availability at BLT. The 7 month window isn't open yet for your dates. Call NOW and see if you can book BLT and if not, waitlist there. You'll be ahead of all the 7 month callers who plan to try for BLT at 7 months.

Then plan to call when your 7 month window opens. You never know - I really don't think that week is totally sold out for every WDW DVC resort, although it will be fairly soon after the 7 month window opens.

I changed my BLT reservation this week.. had Dec 27- Jan1.. to Dec 30- Jan3, and was able to stay in a 1br. ( there were no standard views, only lake views.) but we dont have to change rooms and we still get Blt! win win! good luck!
