lunch at Rainforest- I go here mostly for the atmosphere but find the food pretty good too. I like the turkey wrap. DH got the Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich at the suggestion of our server who said it changed his life. We split our sandwiches and it was really good!

dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel in EPCOT- I got the Crema de Elote (a type of creamy corn soup) and the Queso Fundido. That soup was one of the best things I’ve ever had! The salsa served with the chips was really good too. The Queso Fundido was just ok. DH got the Costillas en salsa de Chile, (braised short ribs) and thought it was delicious. I tried a bite and there was way too much seasoning mixtures going on for my taste.

breakfast at Be Our Guest - we did this both our MK days just as a way to get an early start and ride 7dmt. Otherwise, it’s way too overpriced for breakfast for what you get. For me, DH and DS 10 we ordered the Feast ala Gaston and the Scrambled Eggs de Maurice (kids menu item) and with the pastries they give you it was enough for the 3 of us to split. It was good, but I just wouldn’t pay that much without the advantage of getting in early. It’s a madhouse in there too!

Casey’s lunch - we always enjoy the all beef hotdogs here, it’s kind of tradition to go here and get chili dogs. It would be nice if there was more indoor seating though. We did the preorder in the app and it worked out really well. The piano player was playing while we ate and it got a bit nerve wracking The was he was pounding on the keys so hard and loudly. Not sure if this is always the case or not. We were sitting right in front of him though.

dinner at Homecomin’ - DH and I agreed that this was the best meal we had! I got the fried chicken and potatoes (paid extra for 2 chicken breasts instead of a piece of dark meat), DH got chicken and donuts and DS got bbq pork with Mac and cheese. I have nothing bad to say about any of it! SO good! We all sampled everything and loved it all. The Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had! They brought us a piece of hummingbird cake because of our anniversary pins and it was delicious!

lunch at Yak & Yeti restaurant - Delicious! I got Sweet & Sour chicken, DS got Honey Chicken and we split. DH got street tacos but didn’t care for them. The chicken dishes were both delicious. I preferred the Sweet & Sour and DS preferred the Honey. Both were all white chicken breast. The fried rice was so good I didn’t even need to put soy sauce on it. We got the pork egg rolls appetizer and they were made with real pulled pork, not that bright pink stuff you usually get at Chinese food restaurants.

dinner at Blaze pizza - I got the red vine and DH and DS just got pepperoni. I loved the red vine but DH thought theirs was just ok.

lunch at Plaza Restaurant- way overpriced for what you get but it’s nice and cool and we had a window seat with a nice view of the castle. I got the club, DH and DS got burgers. Just average food, nothing special.

dinner at Boathouse- horrible! I got the filet with baked potato, DS got filet sliders and DH got Filet Oscar style. The only good thing I can say is that the rolls were delicious. DH ordered his filet medium well and it was medium rare. They were very bland and somewhat tough. I had to put the table seasoned salt and butter on mine just to try to give it some flavor. The server brought me some of the House steak sauce and some hollandaise sauce, both of which were gross. I only ate half of my filet and DH ate the rest since his was raw. They asked how everything was and we were honest and said not good. We’re not complainers but it was really bad. Even DS said his sliders were tough. They ended up taking off the cost of DHs meal.

lunch at Sci Fi Dine In - I never expect great food here, just go for the unique atmosphere, but I got the turkey sandwich which was on a multigrain croissant with cilantro avocado aoli and oh my goodness was it SO good! DH got the adult portion of chicken tenders with bbq which he asked for on the side but they put on them anyway and he said it was way too much sauce. The service was pretty bad too. But again, that’s not why you go there. They now walk around with a tray of popcorn cups while you’re waiting which is cute.

dinner from Port Orleans Riverside food court - the create your own pasta is surprisingly very good! I had the penne with Alfredo and mushrooms. I also got extra breadsticks. The breadsticks and sauce they serve them with are very good too.

The best new (to me) snack I had was the orange cream swirl from Sunshine Terrace in MK. SO yummy and refreshing! The popcorn was not to miss either though. I had never tried Disney popcorn... how is it so good?!

Bummer to hear about the Boathouse, their Gibson’s beef is supposed to be excellent. I had the filet sliders with fries and the lemon aioli and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in WDW. Goes to show you never know what you’ll get on any given day!
