Thoughts and Questions about our Online Crop

I want to start to say thank you all for joining us. I had a great time and finished my project for the night (my groups for the Holiday swap). I hope everyone else had a great time too but I have a couple of things I would like to get your opinions on so our next crop can be even better.

This is the first in a series of polls about the hours, activities, and such you would prefer for cropping. I would also like you to post here if you have another idea of something that we could do or what you would like to see added into the our crop.

Just wanted to say that I thought the crop was wonderful and will be joining again. I think the idea about having an into section would be great so us newbies can get to know everyone. Thanks again for a great time!

I really enjoyed the crop last night. I like the idea of an intro for some of the newbies like me to get to know everyone. Friday is my day off so anytime would work great for me. Can't wait for the next one, thanks for taking the time to set these up.

I work until 3:00 on Fridays, but I'm on EST, so any of the times would be fine for me. I really enjoyed last's night's crop too, thanks for hosting!

We had choosen the first Friday as our date when we talked about this towards the end of next year. We may do a day crop for NSD but may do it Friday again as many of us have local store crops we may be going to on NSD. We may change when the 1st weekend of the month is a holiday weekend (July/September I know are).

I'm not voting because I can pretty much do whenever.

I just want to make sure we can incorporate our overseas friends. If we did a 12 hour crop at some point then the 3 of us (Mods) could take shifts. Nan is usually up early, Rebecca is around from the middle of the day to late evening, and I'm the night owl.

Maybe if we do 6-2 again then starting at 5 we could do a meet and greet for the first hour and then kick off the event.

Rebecca, we could probably come up with a few Q&A's to throw out there through the night. I have several ideas already.

I didn't vote either cause I'm still in the mists of double sports at different times causing me to run from one end of town to the other. +this past fri was triple spots and I think that will carry into the next months crop so it all depends how awake I am.
Reading through the thread though it seemed like everything went welll.I'm not a huge one for acticivities when I'm cropping mainly cause I'm usually in a zone and forget everything.
Hopefully my house will be clean and the scraproom will be spotless for march's and I'll be able to join in

I had a good time. Although I don't know how everyone posts, crops, plays bingo and do challenges as well as keeps up with conversations

I can barely crop and refresh. But I had fun!! I'm a newbie so I would love an intro thread before the next one. I look forward to the next one since I'm off to Disney 1/20 for four days.

Seriously. I felt like was two conversation behind. I have no idea how you all got anything done. I was happy I got my S done.


I'm good with almost any timing. If it something I can't be here the whole time, I can certainly find time to drop in.

I'd almost rather host then scrap because if people are taking breaks to pop in we need to keep the conversation going.

I had so much fun!!! The conversation was great and at times felt like we were actually all together and talking instead of typing!! Depending on the timing of next month's crop, I will try not to drink the espresso and be hyper!!!! I love the idea of the get to know you "reception" prior!! Kinda like a cocktail hour!!! We really learned some fun things about each other this time, but it took up the first hour or two of the crop...all worth it though!! You guys are all awesome!

Well I had cut out my letters for the holiday swap and choosen out the embellishments- so I was just gluing things together. I got that done by 9 and then just stayed on a chatted. Next month I will have more planned to do but I enjoy hostessing but know that in doing so I will not get as much done in scrapping and so my plan is to do things that are just assembly for durring the crop. I suppose I could also work on collecting and formating photos for printing in a window beside the crop.

I had so much fun at the crop. I was chatty at the beginning then settled in to work (just like at an on site crop). I had trouble keeping up with the conversation & working So when I was working, I wasn't chatting and had to go back a few pages to read & catch up.

I like the idea of a 12 hour crop that way people could drop in & out and our overseas friends could play too

I dropped in for a little at the beginning and just chatted which was a lot of fun. I really don't know that I could have scrapped and chatted at the same time. I won't pick any specific times for my choice for this since my availability varies alot. I do hope that I can spend more time with y'all next time and I'll even try to scrap as well. The 12 hour crop is a good idea.

I had a great time and hope to make the next one. I did not vote either just because our schedule is always changing with the constant sports and seasons. Always running it seems but will keep my fingers crossed that I am available.
