It will be my DD B-day when we are at WDW. I am making somewhat matching T-Shirts that the family are going to wear to the parks on her actual birthday down there. Hers will say Today's my Birthday and the rest of the family will be wearing Today's my Un-Birthday. I am using the iron on transfers that you can print off the computer. I want to put a different disney character on each of the T-Shirts. In order to do that I would have to save some Disney clip art and then use them for the shirts. Do you think it would be okay to do that? I just want to make sure that I won't get into trouble. Your thoughts and opinions wanted. Thanks!

I'm no lawyer, but if you're just making t-shirts for your own personal use I don't think you'll have any problems.

If you were making shirts with Disney images and trying to sell them on Ebay for a profit, that may be a different story.

While I was in Disney this past Jan. I saw a young boy wearing a T-Shirt with Disney Characters on it and it said something about his Birthday, I just can't remember what. I thought it was so cute and my son Birthday was coming up while we were there. So I went looking for this shirt. I couldn't find it anywhere, so when I started to ask about it. They told me Disney didn't sell anything like that.
That a lot of people make their own shirts and put the characters and saying on them.
So I don't really think it is a problem at all.

I made DD a shirt for each day of our trip last Nov. and the only comments we got from CMs were about how cute they were- Don't worry about it.

Or you could just buy t-shirts from zazzle.com...you can put any character you want on them and include any writing you want. It will be more expensive than iron-on's but at least you won't have to worry

I agree with everyone else here...as long as it's in good taste, you'll be fine!
