Hi everyone,

I have been lurking for a few weeks and finally started posting, so I thought I would say hello and thank you to all the mods for this board.
It is valuable.

Me and the hubby are recent "newbies" to DW. Both our first trip was in March for my 40th BDay. It was fabulous.
Now we are both addicted. We are planning to return this Dec (thank God for the blessing to do so).

Anyway that is me, HI and thanks for all your input! :flower3:

Hi and Welcome - just wanted to pipe in as I just turned 40 and spent my 40th in WDW in November last year! It certainly helps take the sting out of being 'over the hill'. :thumbsup2

Yes it does. I was having a hard time turning the big 40 and thinking how as a child I always wanted to go, but as an only child being raised by my mom we never could afford it. (it was her dream too to go to DW).
She died 9 years ago this dec and never got to go. So with thinking of my looming BDay and her never seeing it I decided it was my gift to myself.
So off I went to enter the "second half of my life" as a child!!! :rotfl2:
Loved it, I embraced turning 40. All day at MK I was called "princess" by everyone it was so cool!!! :cloud9:

Something else we have in common, I lost my Mom (my best friend) 15 years ago, and she had always wanted to enjoy WDW with her grandkids - she never got the chance either. So my sister and I thought it would be a great idea to spend my 40th in WDW just the two of us. It was a wonderful trip for both of us. :cloud9:
