How inconvenient was it just having a temporary location? Did it make your trip more difficult? Did they have the refillable mugs?

We are booked at the CR for Feb, and the Food and Fun Center will be closed with a temp location and no beverage center/no mugs. We're debating whether this will be a big enough issue to need to change resorts.

Thanks!

When we were there 2 years ago, Captain Cooks was being refurbished, but it was open, in a smaller capacity. They still had the mugs/drink refill stations. It really didn't affect us much at all, since we only used CC's to refill our mugs or buy refrigerated items like milk, juice, etc.

It wasn't to bad but it was very limited on choices it seemed with food and I prefer ice with my drink so drinking out a bottle wasn't always the best unless it was water. I'm just curious how Contemporary is going to handle those who have the dining plan that get the refillable mugs. There were no mugs during that time frame.

I didn't affect us in a negative way at all. We just didn't use it very often. But no matter where we are in WDW, there are plenty of places to eat. So I wouldn't make that sole reason for choosing a different resort.

We stayed at the Poly last August when it was being redone. We never had any issues, just like someone else said: we preferred to have ice with our drink, but it wasn't a big issue. I can't wait to go back and see it completed.

Just be sure to eat some Tonga Toast for me!!

That's why we are concerned as we're on the Deluxe Dining Plan. Not a huge deal, but I would like to be able to use them as they're included in the price.
