Those using swagbucks ???

Anyone who tries the discover offers like home insurance quotes, etc, what has been your experience with getting credit? I very rarely get credit for these. I'm wondering if it could be because I usually use a different email address than the one registered with my swagbucks account because I don't want to end up with a bunch of junk mail in my mail email account.

Hit & miss. I, too, usually use a 'junker' email addy for stuff I highly suspect I'll get spammed.

The other part of it is that I belong to 4 or 5 GPT sites and can't remember where I signed up for what. So I often assume that the company already has my info either by signing up for it another time or on another site, or that the site is some sort of "shell" for a parent company vacuuming up email addresses for marketing purposes. I don't feel it's worth my time or the CS rep's time at SB to track down what happened to my 17 cents. If it works, great, if not, I move on.

You can change your email address on Swagbucks. So if you got too much spam, you could swap out to a new email address.

My bonus rounds on Sportly were 2 SB for viewing 50 videos.

I switched that device over to Perk. 50 videos would take forever with the time it was taking to load the advertisements!

On a brighter note, today I got the last 2 collectors bills that I needed. I may just reach my second goal today!

I had SBTV running on my phone last night and woke up to 100SB. My lifestylez bonus rounds were 26 videos. Perktv hates my iphone. Everytime i try to use it, it says I have an adblock on it. Can't figure what it would be to turn it off.

I keep getting bonus round after bonus round on MovieClips. I keep waiting for it to end so I can run some of the other apps but it's now on round 16 or so of just bonus. I am getting credited 2SB pretty often so it seems like it is the normal amount of videos.

I think I'm at 80 sb on SBTV and still going with 5 videos/2 sb. Haven't gotten to the other apps.

Anyone have a clue which of the travel sites you can earn SB on when booking hotels? The way many of them read in the special terms, I get the impression hotel stays don't count. I was going to use priceline, but it doesn't look like I would earn SB. I don't know if the hotel stays aren't included for payout, or if the things they list are exceptions to the "up to 8%". Anybody have first hand knowledge?

I got SB for a stay last february with expedia. It took me months of back and forth and resending receipts several times, but it did eventually credit. They don't pay hotel S&E until after the stay (mine was a booking for the same night, so it shouldn't have taken forever). It is usually airfare that people get surprised on. They expect a lot of credit but it is usually capped at like 75SB.

Is your ipad a mini or the full size one? Not only do the perk apps mostly fail but I typically have trouble with the SB's ones also...SBTV always works as does the regular SB app but the others get hung up constantly.

Mine is a mini. I usually have one app that is a pain in the butt but it rotates. It is nice to have another device, when one app isn't working on one, it usually works on the other.

I found an LG android phone that I had bought last fall. I was just letting my boys play on it and not really using it but I confiscated it lol. It runs the apps great. The mini really is hit and miss for me but it is running tonight half-way decent so I'll take it!

You find a short video (mine are all under 14 seconds) on each app (SBTV, MovieClips, Indymusic, Lifestylez, EntertaiNow, Sportly) then you favorite the video. On an apple product you swipe to the left and hold it until a little heart shows up. I don't know about android. Then when you start the app you select favorites and it will play that short clip over and over until you get the max. (36 for SBTV and 10 for each of the other apps, unless you get bonus rounds.)

Ugh! SBTV has been crashing constantly on android this morning!! I've had to restart the app 5 times and I'm still not finished with the initial 36 SB.
