Those stroller gate-check bags

I went to Wal-Mart to get one and couldn't find them. The employee in the baby department had no idea what I was talking about. Where in the store do you find them?

Yeah, the employees (2) in the baby department along w/ the head of the stock room couldn't find one of two Graco Nautilus car seats for me when I drove ONE HOUR to pick one up.

Half an hour later...while waiting for the store manager to come and figure out why they appeared in the computer but no one could find them..."I" found them on display in the center aisle in front of the baby section.

I wouldn't put much stock in a Walmart employee not knowing what you are talking about!

Just got mine. They do not carry them in the store BUT you can do free ship from site to the store.

My Dh had a very bad experience with the free ship to the store option. He ordered an item which was shipped to the store. When he went to pick it up, he was at the store for more than an hour while the employees tried to figure out where his shipment was. Eventually, they found the item on a display rack and just gave him that one! (It was some sort of deer scent stuff so the fact that it was a "display" wasn't a big deal.) If you want to avoid the hassle, I would suggest just paying the shipping and getting it at your doorstep. I was very impressed with how fast we received our gate check bag. It is so nice. I also ordered the larger padded bag for our older DD's stroller since she wouldn't be using it at the airport.

I have never seen it at the store. I shipped it right to my house.

Target.com has them, so maybe they're also available in stores? Target tends to have marginally better customer service (at least, in my area they do).

I could have sworn I heard about people finding them at Wal-mart But, I found one anyway. I was just out running errands and was near Right Start, and sure enough they had the same one, $14.99. It is bigger than I expected! Thanks

I just went looking for one last week at WalMart. The customer service agent told me that a Super Walmart might have one in store, but I'd probably have to get it online. I couldn't find one at BRU or Target, so I looked for the cheapest online price. Found it at Target.com for cheaper than Wal-Mart (you could ship to store at WalMart for cheaper, but I've heard too many bad experiences about that). It's a pretty big bag, but I'm not sure you could get a Sit and Stand through the drawstring opening. It opens to about 17 inches. HTH.

The bag is 12x12x43, it's really intended for umbrellas. You might be able to squeeze an bigger umbrella-style fold, like a Pliko, in there.

I live in like the only town in the world where this is not true, but aside from here, I totally second this. Target generally has a lower drama to visit ratio.
