I noticed in the other October thread that there were many of us going the first week, can I ask you a question? How are you working your itinenaries?

We will be able to visit the paks Sunday thru Friday and have never been before, its just my DH and myself going. We will arrive late Saturday 10/1

Sunday 10/2 - is the opening weekend of Food and Wine and has one of the first MNSSHP.

The next 2 MNSSHP's are Tuesday and Friday, Thursday we are going to Sea World (already have a paid PS so can't change that).

Will Epcot be packed on Sunday since its the opening weekend? Should I try to do say AK and MNSSHP on the same day?

Any suggestions for our week would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Kelly

HI....I'm going with my family Oct.1-Oct.11th. There will be four of us and we haven't finished our itenerary. We will be arriving around 11 a.m. on Sat. I'm buying the 7 day basic pass for myself and my son, my parents will get 5 day.

My parents are getting a car and heading to Daytona for the night. My son and I will be using Magic Express and heading to Pop for 1 night. I'm going to hit whichever park has the late hours. Sunday??? then parents will pick me up and off we go to our rental home for the next 9 nights.

Monday----unclear

Tuesday--- we will take morning off and attend MNSSHP at night. How old are your children??? I think you should relax the day of MNSSHP because you will be there late and the kids might be REALLY tired if you try to do to much.

Wed. - Tue.?????

We haven't really thought about park days alot. I'm waiting for the hours to come out and I want to know what nights they will have Spectromagic parade etc...

We have decided to spend 1 day at Sea World, but again we haven't decided what day.

Also, I noticed you saud you are doing parks Su-Fri. Thats alot of parks you should plan 1 day for rest and swimming maybe shopping at one of the outlets.

after many trips of itinerary packed days to disney we are taking a RELAXING anything goes trip just me and DH. Oct. 1 thru oct.7th. He doesn't think I can do it but we'll try. It is for our 2 year aniversary.

Friday MNSSHP can get fairly crowded, even early in the month. I'd plan on the Sunday night one, that way if it's bad weather, or you just want to go again you have Tuesday night to fall back on.

As far as Epcot, I'd wait until a weekday to do it instead of opening day.

AK and MNSSHP should be doable in one day, just take an afternoon break at the resort/pool to recharge.

HTH!!!! :teeth:

HI! I'll be at BWV from Oct 2-8. I thinking about MNSSHP for Sunday night also. I may change to Tuesday but i'm not sure. We may be tired Sunday and not want to do anything after driving for 30 hours.

Here's my plan so far:
Monday - MGM
Tuesday - AK
Wednesday - MK with an Epcot visit at night with no kids (Our Anniversary)
Thursday - Epcot
Friday - Is open to anything. If we go to a waterpark on Tuesday then we will visit our favorite park again. If we didn't go to a water park then we will do it first on Friday.
Sat - may be a water park day too if we feel up to it after packing to leave.

Lots of evening may be spent in Epcot in the world showcase with me and DH. sometimes kids, sometimes not. We have PH, may as well use them and we'll be close enough. We'll probably also hit an EMH at night or two sans younger kids.

It's our first visit too and we have a large group going so it will be easy to leave younger kids behind since one family will have an 11 month old who will need to sleep on time.

Of course I haven't adjusted our parks for the EMH's (morning or night) and since I won't know which days are which til closer to October, I probably won't change them since we'll already have PS' in place. I will have my Passporter with me for every day to help me with touring plans and also have a list of must-do's so we don't miss anything important.

We're the same way. That's why we don't really do Priority Seatings...we never know where we're going to be! Last trip, we actually made a PS for The Brown Derby WHILE we were in the park –– I just had the number in my cell and called while we were in a line to see if there were any openings. I think it's easier with just the two of us. There's only two opinions ––*and mine is the one that usually counts! :rotfl:

We park hop 1/2 days, so our itinerary will depend on the hours of the parks, and we have to work around our anniversary dinner.

We are going Oct. 1 - 8 and will be getting a seven-day MWY park hopper pass. We will go to MNSSHP one night and will take a rest day during the first part of the day (no hopper used this day). The day after that we will sleep in and probably just toodle around the World Showcase that afternoon. I am planning LOTS of short days with only a couple of full days in the parks. I figure since we have eight days we can relax a bit more. We spent 4.5 days in the parks three years ago commando-style, and we were exhausted by the end of the week! It will be me, DH, and DD10.

This is the exact timeframe we went last year and doing it again this year. We arrived on Saturday Oct 2 and left that Friday. This year we are doing almost the same thing - arriving Sat Oct 1 but leaving Wednesday the 5th.

Last year on Sunday, we visited Epcot and didn't feel it was crowded even though it was the opening weekend for F&WF. We went to MNSSHP that night and found the crowds very manageable! I had never been before so I had nothing to compare it to, but it reminded me of E-Nights with a few more people. Despite more people, we walked onto most rides wherever we went. Got to ride Barnstormer 5 times without getting off!!

Anywho, I think we will do Epcot on Sunday, MK on Monday and AK/MGM on Tuesday. I'm very un-commando, so I don't plan ahead too much, but this is likely what we'll do.

Can't wait...what about you? :Pinkbounc
