Those cute little candy bins at Goofy's Candy Co.??

Thanks. I won't be making it to DTD during our 3 night stay...is there anywhere else (like one of the parks) that sells these candy bins?

Just wanted to say you can make your kids happy in the candy co and get away cheaply. Our rule is 7-8 single pieces of candy per child(one gummy worm, 1 mini peanut butter cup, etc) and we spent $4 for two children. Just observe them carefully as they choose! I think 7 mouthfuls of candy is plenty as an after dinner treat anyway!

Not sure if you are talking about the glass/plastic jar with lid. But I was at the register when a CM told a girl it would be cheaper to buy the jar filled with candy rather than the bag she had. The cm helped her and you can even fill the lid, so fill up and get your moneys worth. I didn't know you could fill the lid too. 10 bucks seems cheap. DH once got a bag and it was in the 20's ... for JELLYBEANS!!!! Yikes. This was before we knew the ins and outs.

I'm definitely going to be filling up one of these next month! Then the empty container will find its way into my classroom... :Pinkbounc

Those little bins will make great souveiners for our kids to bring back!! Thanks for the tip!

I am going to have to get one and fill it up with some candy, when we go in Dec.!

Do they have away that they can seal them up for you( so you can take them on an airplane, with out them going all over the place)?

oh i have one of those little bins things, i got one from Islands of Adventure when i was about 8 and filled it up with M&Ms, but i only got two colours thou, because i didn't reliase how fast the sweets came out, and they all rushed out and has 100's of green and purple M&M's

i went into the goofy's candy store, but i think it smelled to sweet and sickly i just had to leave, might stay in it longer this time, get some jelly bellies

I was wondering, does anyone know if Goofy's sells those gummy cinnamon hot lips? I've seen them in the bulk store around here, and loved them, and wanted to pick some up when I was there in 2 years, so I thought I'd ask. Also, do they sell Sweet Tarts (for the candy jars that is)? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those!

Thanks,

Jules

Crazy question, but how do you fill the lid? The outside portion? Thanks! :sunny:

Are there any candy stores in the PARKS that sell these bins? We won't make it to DTD during our 3-night stay.

What other types of candy is available for the little bins? My kids are not huge jelly bean fans. Thanks.

I read somewhere the other day that MouseGear in Epcot now has a section of Goofy's Candy Co. They probably have the candy bins.

I found the link!

And in one pic, you can see that they have the pricing out where everyone can see. :D And a scale sitting next to it.

It looks like they have more types of bulk candy than the one at DTD. Does anyone else think so? Has anyone ever visited this one? I may just get my candy bin at this one if the selection is better.

We have a market here called WIN CO and they have candy bins. Lucy calls it the shelf of her dreams!! I just showed her the pics of Goofy's and she wants to go and get some......TODAY!! Oh boy, are we going to have fun when we get there next May!! Thank goodness for teeth sealants!

We just came back.

Goofy's Candy near the Christmas Shop - DTD.

They had really cute small lunch boxes - fill up for $25 each.
Made of tin - stong to hold everything.

We only allow wrapped candy from bins.
DS filled it with just taffy.
DD filled with smarties, tootsie rolls and taffy.

We allow 3 pieces of the candy a day.
So they both have alot of candy left - even after being home for 2 weeks :goodvibes

The lunch box tins make nice soveniers after the candy is gone. :thumbsup2
