Has anyone ever filled up one of those little candy bins at Goofy's Candy Co.? I remember seeing them on my Disneymoon, and have now decided that I simply must do this next time. Is it still $10? What kinds of candies to they have to put in your bin?? Any pics and info. would be simply marvelous. :teeth:

I'd like to know too. I haven't been to Goofy's Candy Co yet since the last time I was at WDW it didn't exist. I can't wait to check this place out.

I've been to Goofy's a few times and never noticed this. Would love to know more also.

I don't know but did you know there is a lot of candy from Goofy's at Mouse Gears in Epcot?

Sorry...don't have any pictures but my DD filled one up when we were there last December. You could fill it with any of the candies in the bins. Boy did she get her money's worth! We use it at home for candies

I don't have any pictures, but it is mostly things like jelly beans, gummie things, lemon drops, etc.

I mostly notice them because little kids like to yank on the little pole things that release the candy. If they yank hard enough, they manage to let candy spill all over the floor. I've seen this happen numerous times. Needless to say, this is not appreciated by the CMs working in the store. :sad2:

I'm bumpin this up as well, I'm going in 08 and am interested also!

We went to the DTD Goofy's candy co. and my daughter wanted to buy one of those cute candy holders with the little scoop. Me being not so brilliant said oh why don't you use a bag and you can get more. Well, the prices are not clearly posted anywhere....you really have to search for them. And, the bill came to $25 for half a bag full. Ouch.....and to top it off her brother got a bag also.....the bill was over $50 for just two bags :sad1: .

So, just be warned....the little candy bins or jars are much better because the price is set when you fill it....they do not weigh it like the bag.

They have a variety of Jelly Belly jellybeans, and an assortment of other candies that you can choose from (the jellybelly flavors are sooo good :cloud9: ).

I hope this helps a little. :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness! How much candy was that???
Thanks so much for the help guys!!!

I was at Goofy's candy shop two weeks ago and spoke to CMs while waiting for DS to pick his "snack credit" for the day. CMs did talk about lots of wastage with people putting candy into bags, getting to counter, finding that it cost $25 - $30 and then not taking it. He said they throw all of that candy out!

When I went in March the little candy bin was still $10 to fill it up. I got mine on my trip in Dec. and talked my friend into getting one in March. I filled mine up with different types of jelly beans. I still use mine to this day. It is now holding my Pirate Pearl M&M's

Hehe, I can't recall the price per pound of that bulk candy, but let me just say that they stick it to ya real good! :thumbsup2

Well, I did pay for mine - $52. I think the CM was surprised that I actually paid for it and didn't complain. I couldn't dissapoint the kids for my own mistake  . But let's just say that I'm none too eager to be making a trip back there. And if we do, I think I will be more observant of prices, especially those per pound.

Oh, and I couldn't find a scale anywhere to check how heavy they were, turns out they were both over 2 pounds. There is another candy store on the other side of DTD, near Bongo's and Wolfgang's. They have a scale so you might want to go to that one. I have to admit that those jelly beans were really good, but amazingly were gone way too quickly.

Does anyone have a picture of this container? How large is it? Is it $10 to fill up? We have never been to Goofy's Candy Company.

We always get candy at Sweet Spells in MGM to munch on before Fantasmic, it has become a family tradition. However they have bags that are clearly marked. If you fill it up to the first line it is $, second line$$ and so on. I love the Jelly Belly jelly beans and this is the only time of the year that I get them.

:confused3 You would think that someone in management would have noticed this issue and they'd add more well-displayed prices. :confused3

We're taking our kids to Goofy's Candy Co. in a couple of weeks but we're placing strict "guideline" to what they can/cannot get. (PS - they have to get candy that mom and dad like, too! ;) ).
