Thongs on board?

Just wondering if anyone ever saw girls/women wearing thongs? I hope not since we will be having our children with us. It is a Disney Cruise.... so that is another reason that I would think it would not be an issue. Just wondering. Thanks.

the only Thongs I have ever seen on a DCL are one peoples FEET

Thanks.... guess I should have been more specific. I meant thong bathing suits. I also meant while on the ship...... I realize anything is possible while out on a beach some where. Uuugghh! Thanks.

honestly......I have been on 9 DCL cruises and have never seen a Thong on board. I don't think they have rules about it but I believe that folks understand that this cruise is Kid Friendly!!

I saw mainly Lands End type suits with skirts & shorts for the bottoms! I don't think thong bathing suits are a major concern on the DCL!

Yes, I have seen thongs (yes, plural) on DCL cruises. Mostly at the adult pool but also on Deck 10. Never at the family designated areas.

We saw 2 women by the family pool wearing thong bathing suits, walking around near Pluto's. Let's just say their thong days had long passed. People onboard are from many places, expect to see many things.

I wouldn't worry about too much, considering on our cruise we pulled up right next to a ship with an entire deck topless .............

There could be women wearing thongs and there could be men wearing speedos. You can't protect your children from seeing things when you have no control over it. However, you can make sure that if they do see something different that they don't point, they don't say anything inappropriate, and that your reaction doesn't alarm them. While you may believe that bee hinds should be covered, others may not. If you see it, it is best to say that some people dress differently. Most kids won't give it another thought, they only dwell on stuff parents get hyper about.

On the Magic last week I did notice one woman wearing a thong bathing suit. She was with her kids at the Mickey pool.

Caught me by surprise to be honest.

Did not notice any men wearing anything like that.

Saw a lady on CC this week with one with her husband and two young girls. I was taken aback a little bit but my kids never even noticed.

On the 1/17 Wonder Cruise there were two women (different families) that were wearing thongs...well...one had on a thong and other was the type of bathing suit that cuts off mid cheek...so most of her "cheeks" were exposed. There were quite a few stares going around.
