When we cruise it seems like the speedo wearers are all XXL. Speedos and thongs should not be made or sold at that size.
This was rather offensive.

Really? You have seen people wearing thongs on family friendly tv shows, family friendly magazine ads and catalogs? I guess I haven't. And I think since Disney is a family friendly place, people should respect that and wear tasteful swimwear.
Anyone who rides Summit Plummet is basically wearing a thong at the end of the ride.![]()
Yes, absolutely, every single day. Have you never seen an ad for Victoria's secret ? Or most Perfumes ? or A music Video ? Or a new CD/Single being released, or a movie ... or ... anything... Butts are everywhere.
Seriously.
Really? Thongs aren't much different than yoga pants? That is hilarious. Trust me- there's a difference. I look darn good in yoga pants. I would look terrifying in a thong.
I'm no prude, but a family friendly place like Disney World is just not the best place to showcase your ***-ets in a thong.
I was asking about family friendly places you see people wearing thongs. WDW is a family friendly place not a Sandals resort.
And to answer your question, no, I have four children and I am careful what they see so we do not have Victoria's Secret catalogs in our home. Nor do we watch music videos or movies of that sort. Or have any magazines where butts are shown.

A thong bathing suit covers only the female (or in some cases, male) genitals. Leaving the entire butt bare for the world to see is nudity, plain and simple, and it should not be allowed at a Disney, a family centered, water park.
I think Disney should address this. I know there are other many other waterparks in the US who do not allow thongs!

There is a major difference though. Many of those Muslim countries are just that - MUSLIM countries. Religious states. They actually have laws about these things.
I've gotta say I'm happy I DON'T live in a country like that. Maybe people think it's gross or tacky or whatever. The bottom line is, it's totally legal, and totally OK to do.
Don't get me wrong: at this point in my 54 year old life, I would never even think about prancing around in a thong, a bikini or even a 2-piece bathing suit. But I definitely don't want to deny anyone else their right to do it - whether it looks good or not!!
Just my opinion of course - but I imagine I'm in the minority.
