Thomas cook explorers hotel ?

We have finally booked to go to the Thomas cook explorers hotel in December and have had a look at the hotel thread but has anyone been there recently, just after some info so we know what to expect

I have stayed there twice (but not recently) and really liked the hotel. The rooms were a decent size and the pool was great for children.
Is there something specific you want to know about?
