If you remove yourself from this website expect to get lots of junk email. They are doing it to collect email addresses. Any information that they have is already out there on other sites. Anything you do online leaves a history behind.

As for knowing how much you paid for a home that is public knowledge that anyone can look up at any time so long as they know where you live.

I searched my name a while back and it wasn't a big deal. Lots of wrong info, etc. But, I just searched my email address. Wowsa! That got me to delete that entry. Yes, some of that information is available elsewhere, but usually not with my full name.

Given how inaccurate the information is, even information that is publicly available, I don't think I'd worry about it too much! Information about your house is usually part of the public record and can usually be accessed through your local government's website.

Some of the stuff on there is so funny (of course my last name is Jones....)I am listed 4 different times. One is my old work address from years ago - but I can tell you for a fact that the name information is from the telephone book listings...That is the only way that my old work number would have been in there - I worked for AT&T. Just FYI - I am married, single, retired, have 2 children, have no children, my house is worth $1M, I do not have central heating or air-conditioning, I have a pool, no wait I don't, I live in a Post Office Box that is worth $350K, and Tinker Bell and several strangers are among my pictures. What a hoot!

It also shows my mother/dad's address in a city that ONLY THE PHONE COMPANY USES as an address. And I never knew that my dad liked to KNIT........

It said I'm still living with my mother. I moved out in 1991 when I left for college and haven't been back except to visit. In 8th grade, I was voted most likely to still be living with my mother at age 35 (yeah, right!). I wonder if they dug that up somewhere....

Well, I'm not on there as either my current name nor my maiden name - as that doesn't show up at all.

The only member of my family I've found so far is my SIL-- she's gained a middle name. The best part - She currently has two primary residences - both of which are single family homes with a combined value of $500,000 - since she lives in section 8 housing won't she be proud - Of course at one home she's married but living alone while at the other she's single with two children. Oh, and her income is $100,000 combined - given that she makes minimum wage is definitely a hoot..

Wow! My child is older than I am! And she has a better job to boot. She is a professional type, while I am a service worker. Don't know why I am paying the oil bill each winter either, as my house does not have central heating. Really wrong stuff on there, which to me is okay---far better than having the correct stuff listed. The thing is, I can sort of deduce WHERE they got some of the incorrect info. A lot my interests listed may have come from various websites I have visited in the past-once. For example, I had thought about knitting a baby blanket for someone, so I downloaded a pattern once. I never made the blanket, though, because I don't really enjoy knitting all that much. One of my listed interests is-you got it-knitting!
